I totally agree. People who joined the clique in Blurryface (like me!) are just as real as the fans who have been here the whole time. So many people are saying that it's too bad that these 'fake fans' won't get to hear this older music, but that's totally not true. And just because some fans might like Ride or Stressed Out more than some other Tøp songs doesn't mean they are fake. All of this fake fan stuff needs to stop, because we are a family, new fans or old fans.

Wow I got chills reading that! I feel you... Well kinda. Twenty one pilots (specifically Tyler Joseph) helped me outta a weird kind of depression. It started just with a small common I hate my life blow outs and one day it got real bad. Not your typical terrible depression it was triggered by a small mistake that was reminding me of everything wrong I've done I desperately wanted to kill myself desperately but was terrified out of my fucking mind if I survived a suicide attempt and how shocked everyone would be to see that I'm not just some "happy car guy". I cried and lied on my bed for days listening to this band I just got into (twenty one pilots). And after about a week of listening mainly to isle of flightless birds, a car a torch a death, taxi cab, doubt and a few other songs I was fine. It took me about 5-6 months later while listening too them on Spotify that they were the reason I got out of the worst days of my life. I haven't been depressed or blown up since.

I remember my depressed friend showed me this song after being clean for a while. She knows about my anxiety so I decided, if it's top, it'll be good. And I actually had to control myself because...wow. Their music is so inspirational and it really...I'm just so happy I was introduced to them a while back. Their lyrics are so gold and deep

Everytime I would feel very sad at school, I would go into this tiny area no one ever goes to, tho everyone knows about it. I would take my earphones out and sob to this while mouthing the lyrics. I would do this over and over and over again and it never failed. It never cheered me up but it helped me to release everything, to feel empty because it's better that way than to be filled with sorrow

He even mentioned in an interview that's what exactly made him write truce and guns for hands- because he knew that many people are struggling in their lives and are having suicidal thoughts so he wanted to send a message through writing these songs- and to be honest TB saga is the most meaningful song to me, like, it explains how I feel 24/7.

I am from the new generation of 21 pilots admittedly but I believe I have struck what appears to be one of their best songs. I fcking cried.

I feel that I can really connect to this song because of all of the messed up crap that is messed up with me. I have dealt with an eating disorder called anorexia and I cut myself. About a year ago, I wanted to be done with my life. I didn't want to be here anymore, I didn't feel as if there was a purpose for me being here. I was dealing with low self-esteem, depression, and suicidal thoughts. I stumbled across this song, (and Lovely) and it brought me to tears. I started sobbing because I knew that there were people that cared for me and loved me for who I was. Because of these two songs, I am still alive today. I know I would have probably tried to commit suicide at some point for some reason. I still deal with my eating disorder, cutting, and depression, but I no longer have suicidal thoughts. Also, I know that neither of them will see this comment, but I just wanted to say, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for saving my life. I-/ For those of you who took the time to read this, I thank you, too. I want you to know that you are a lovely and beautiful person. You are here for a reason. You were not put in this world to take yourself out of it. You don't have to leave a like on this comment btw. I know a lot of people ask for likes for things like this, but you don't have to. I just hope that maybe some people will read this and feel better about themselves. (:

This song has helped me so much because just a few days ago my best friend tried to kill himself and im the one who had to dial 911. this song helped me get through it until i found out hes alright. I just love this song and album. The lyrics are really meaningful in every one of their songs and I think it's sad that most people only know stressed out, ride, or heathens. Haters comment how the lyrics are just plain and simple, which is all on the stressed out video. Haters don't listen to songs from them that are like this, because they have a lot more meaning to them then the words say. l-lannah M actually this band means more than anything else in my life to me. They seriously own my heart because of them I stopped self harm and everytime I think of doing something bad to myself they save me.

I've been listening to Twenty One Pilots since I heard Stressed Out. I was just listening to their "popular" stuff at first. Then I came to a point where I was lip syncing to their music on the bus before school. I haven't been through the stuff some of you guys, but I've had my bad days--more than a fair share. Many caused by classmates. I just find some song by Twenty One Pilots to listen to when I've had a bad day. It soothes me, makes me happy. Then I see the comments and I'm remember that my minor struggles are much more temporary than other people's. I'm a proud fan of such beautiful music. I'm not even in eighth grade yet, but I already need someone to go to as an escape. I'm glad that this is where my escape room is.

The way I like to think of it to tell people is this: everyone has a purpose in life, and if you feel you have no purpose, then your purpose is to find a purpose. Pretty much I am saying that some people think about suicide from thinking they don't have a reason to be alive. You affect others every single day of your life and if you were gone, then that wouldn't happen. The point is that if you didn't exist anymore you'd never again feel that happy rush when your favorite song comes on or that warmth when you make someone smile or laugh or even just do a nice thing. There's so much to live for, honestly. Even the smallest things like the scent and the color of green grass turns after it rains, watching a dog trot happily down a street, seeing a couple so obviously in love in public. The experience of life is just..thrilling. Sometimes life beats you down and you feel like it'll never get better, I know, but take it from someone who's literally had pills ready in her hand, that it gets better. The struggle that is fighting depression and suicidal thoughts are well worth it because someday in the future, when you're laying in bed at the end of a long day, you'll smile and be glad that you kept fighting. And your loved ones will be, too.

The reason I am still here today is because of this song. Last year I was very lonely. None of my teachers liked me. Nor did my perents. Multiple occasions I was in the kitchen with a sharp knife at my heart. Each time I would close my eyes and try to think, Friend please, stay with me. I only had 1 true friend. Thanks to him. I'm here. Now I have more people who care about me. Who love me. It's still tough at times. But I'll live. I'll make sure of it. To all of you that here this story, it's not the end. I am not suicidal or depressed, but this song and all tøp songs in general put me in deep thoughts. I feel like my friends and I have a different way of thinking and its hard for me not being able to have like really deep conversations with anyone. I'm literally watching my family fall apart My dad and sister are always arguing My dad doesn't let me or her do anything or go anywhere My parents are divorced and have no money and my dad has no job, is depressed and can never go a day without shouting at me and arguing with everyone over nothing. I self harmed for a year and a half and half been clean for 5 months. I know this doesn't seem that deep but life is a big struggle and I cant help but cry every time I hear this song. That _is_ if I'm not crying already.

My best friend had been having trouble trying to cheer me up, so he sent me this song. It's such a beautiful song and really means something to me.

my friend, one of the bestest friends I've ever had, sent me this song after I tried to commit. They don't show much emotions, their reactions are dull sometimes, but just then I was somewhat sure - they actually care. thank you.
