Much better doing the last part of the last question entirely in the RUN/MAT mode of the fx-CG50, as opposed to first using the statistics mode. Press the OPTN button and select CALC followed by SolvN. Next, press F6 followed by F3(PROB). Press F6 again and select P(. Now press the fraction key and, in the top box, enter 180-160. Go to the lower box and enter x. Get the cursor to the right of this fraction and select the = shown in yellow (SHIFT decimal point). To the right of the = sign, enter 0.8, and then press EXE, followed by EXIT. The calculator displays 23.763659, giving you the answer directly. Remember that on Casio calculators (even the inferior fx-991ES) P( is the command for P(Z<z) and R( is for P(Z>z). Both can be used with SolveN or Solve commands on the Casio graphics calculators, though I don't think you can concatenate with P( or P( on an fx-991ES!

Much easier to get the initial velocity of the projectile by using the path equation: y=xtan(theta)-gx^2(1+tan^2(theta)/2U^2 This can be done using the solve facility on the fx-991EX and gives the answer directly. (X=15, L-R=0 where X represents U).

The series on the 50 hardest questions was absolutely clutch!! Made doing loads of maths actually bare-able going through different topics in each one! Plus your predictions for the applied paper came in so handy, i felt like it prepared me for really hard questions so when the questions that came up in the exam that were relatively straight forward in comparison it made them so much easier!! Thank you!!

Thank you SOOO much for all of your help for my A Level maths. I am confident I got over 95% in both paper 2 and paper 3, most of which is purely because of your videos, especially paper 2. I've been watching you since March and your videos have been absolutely amazing!! I will absolutely stay subscribed to you, and when my brother does A level maths in a couple years time, you will gain yourself another subscriber, and in fact I will be recommending you to any person I meet doing A Level maths! Once again, thank you so much, and good luck with all of your endeavours sir!
