If you enjoy working out and home gym equipment this is the place for you. I bring over two decades of experience to the table and am exciting to share it with the world.
I've been lifting for a long time and while that doesn't make me an expert I sure can help you avoid making the mistakes I've made along the way.

There needs to be someone to tear dumbbells apart :))
the intro :))
Seems to be a run of the mill Alibaba import. Would rather go with a Stray Dog ATR or Rogue FM-6
The Vulcan Talos better
Fringe is known for jacking up their prices during covid and after reviews come out. Not sure why people promote them after that a lot of the stuff they do.
Bells of bs! So mad been waiting on my shipment for 3 weeks and it finnaly moved from southern ca past me in northern ca and ended up in Washington. Said it was delivered up in Washington then must have been picked back up because it’s at a transfer station. Can’t even return all 3k of my stuff till it arrives but super unhappy with how they ship and the fact that there’s no straight forward shipping information. Reached out to dayross shipping and figured out a little but shill super frustrating seeing as I only had so much time to set up before shipping off to work. Dot. Think I’ll spend a dime with them again definitely switching tp rouge fitness
Yikes that’s not what I like to hear, could you let me know your order number and I’ll dig into it. Day and Ross is a new carrier we’re trying
I like the 1:1 ratio, sure it isn't as smooth as other options, but you're getting more weight you paid for to workout with. It would be like me selling a 45-lbs plate, but only allowing you to lift 22.5 pounds of it. Plus, this will work with any rack that is 3" x 3" with 1" holes so a person could choose to make their own Frankenstein power cage with elements from many different companies, which I love. I am sure that something might be better, but I hardly doubt the bigger companies can come even close to that price point. I am curious which other outfits will follow suit and make more improvements.
I think you missed something huge. How did you build your space?
Cool review, the FT options continue to grow! It would be cool to get your thoughts on Stray Dogs ATR approach, a little love towards an American made option.
You should consider actually showing the exercise longer, rather than stand there talking.
ATX, more, kylo ren meme style. need more ATX
When it comes to pulleys with bearings, I've in the past learned while assembling do not over tighten. It will rob the aluminum pulley a lot of it's natural function. I've always been a tighten for life kind of guy lol.
New subscriber :) Q. Which plates would people suggest for outdoor year round use on a squat rack… no dropping required but will be exposed to rain and sunshine. as you say everyone seems to suggest crumb, but urethane is a much more climatically resilient material so might those actually be the better bet? The central steel core is encapsulated anyway. welcome thoughts !
I'm just wondering how much time you spend setting up racks, cable systems, and other equipment for review! Speaking of rack equipment, any plans on reviewing the new PRx Halo Arms that drop soon? You showed them in your Home Gym Con video and those are at the top of my list but need a review before deciding.
Honestly way too long. Between research, testing, filming, editing, etc these videos take well over 40 hours each. The Halos were interesting. I've been talking to PRx about doing some reviews so we'll see what comes of it but I'll get to get my hands on them if that's what people want to see.
@@GlucksGym look at the bright side for having kids, cheap labor for equipment setup. I bet you could do a video just on tips/tricks on how to assemble a rack, cable machine, etc. Definitely interested in the Halo Arms. Griffin 2.0 has articulating arms but with a lot fewer pin hole settings and you can't lock out the arms laterally. If you get a chance to review the Halos would be helpful if you think they're worth keeping on the rack full time, especially if you've got a cable system such as the Ares 2.0 in place and how that would work.
That butt is hungry for shorts. Fix her form, she dips too much trying to get back up.
Says we fall asleep while watching, fell asleep and had to watch twice 😂
Why don't these companies just ask Gluck BEFORE they start designing and building their equipment?
The only downside to me is the cable travel length but having a one to one means they can ship you less weight stack which is why it must be cheaper.
We have a "daisy chain" coming that will extend the effective use length
Been super busy so haven’t been able to consume content. Finally got some clean air. Good to be back with Gluck. Sweet review mate. ‘Can’t even count that low’ got me. 30% off rep is a solid selling point.
I will always love you.
What are your thoughts on the Talon from Griffin?
What do you think about their clear coat?
Can you review the Griffin Talon?
Always appreciate your content.
Vesta fitness! Has one with Smith machine!!!
Peg board looks fancy with the Drink Spotter on it
Hi
15lb delt raises? Heck, after my shoulder injury, 15 ounces was too much. Years later, 8 lbs is pain threshold for reps. Still working towards 10!
Anyone know If the sleeves still spin on the performance series power bar?
Do you think the cable system will continue to degrade in smoothness over time?
No. I think the issue is the cable thickness and potentially the pulley diameters (they're using 3 different size pulleys). This is from the same factory (IMO) as the Vesta 2:1 which has similar issues with the smoothness of the pull.
Well, you have to appreciate that the summary is put up front. Frankly it's nice to have that first rather than in the last 75 seconds.
Excellent review!
Thank you!
i like 1:1 but you bright up some other valid issues that would prevent me from dropping 2k+ on this.
Fringe doesn't deliver to my area
You and garage gym reviews on the same day?
Let's get a plate loaded version!
Not on the roadmap, but we will consider in the future
Another great review and something new to consider. I'm saving up to buy a functional trainer. I've been looking at Jacked up fitness. Would love to see a review on those. Thanks.
Wait for version 2.0.
You might be waiting a long time.
I got patience. Also any large pieces I will wait for Black Friday.
@@TheGhu123 we haven’t fully planned, but I do think this bf will be SICK
Dane - Stupidest name ever,
"I can't even count that low" LOL!!! Classic Gluck
😁
"hit my wife, on camera"
Good review thanks , waiting for that rogue version of this. The one with weights on the side same as this.
We'll have a review of it coming
Keep up the hard work bro! Love ur videos
Thank you so much!
Love the reviews. If you have plans to review vesta 2in1 half rack or something similar I’d use your link
Is the lat pulldown seat available separately? I might buy it, with ur afffilate link of course lol.
Yep. Here it is gluck.fit/FringeLatSeat
Does the half rack need to be bolted to the ground?
It does not! The front feet stabilize the rack. That, and the damn thing weighs a ton
The strength Co. End of discussion.
Looks like a great value, but that start weight is a bummer. Hoping to see more details on the peg board 👀
The low row feet plate i believe isnt free. Its additional $119
Low row plate is not included in the base price. It is an additional purchase.
Do you think its worth it to get one of these or to save up for the Rep ?
If you can save up I would go with an Athena. I'm sure Fringe will improve this but it's not on that level.
