Hi everyone!
I'm Willie and I would love for you to explore the world with me through my KZread videos!
I grew up in South Africa (hence the accent) but currently live in England. Before I started this channel in 2022, I already visited more than 60 countries.
However, I've never created vlogs of my travels - I was the one taking lots of photos, but with these vlogs I can take you with me on my adventures. I have a passion to show others the world - especially those who do not have the opportunity to travel themselves.
As an experienced traveller, I am well-equipped to take you to places off the beaten track. My vlogs consist of raw content without fancy editing, and I often focus on interactions with the locals. I also enjoy creating silent walking tours which give viewers different perspectives of a particular place.
Of course, I am very keen to hear your comments, ideas and suggestions so that I can provide content that you would like to watch!
Let's go and explore!

You get the poles in the middle of the road in Carnarvon as well. The Trees will not interfere with the electrical lines.
That's interesting, Willem. Thanks for watching!
Hi fascinating vlog on curaçao. My daughter and I are going to Aruba in August. Not been there for more than 20 years. It seems to me Curaçao is like Aruba was many years ago. Must think about doing curaçao, much more European too. We live in north wales uk. So it’s as you know a long flight . Will check out your opinion on Aruba too. 😊
Hi Christine! Thanks for watching and engaging, I appreciate the support! Glad to hear about your trip to Aruba and possibly Curaçao. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll have a blast! Please do check out my other content :)
@@willieexplore yes I intend to.. thanks for the reply 😄
No veo ciclistas.
There are not many! Thanks for watching
Lyk lekker Willie
Dit was wonderlik! Dankie vir die saamkyk en die ondersteuning!
Love the intro and the bloopers! 😂
Haha glad you enjoyed those! I had a few tongue-twisters to negotiate :)
The clouds look as if the tyrannical Cabal puppet government has been busy with their chemtrails causing bad weather and containing ANC poisonous chemicals spewing down poisoning the air, water and food. I hope I am wrong and that it is not occurring in your part of the world. It is happening all over the world!
I can confirm that Dwarskersbos is a place where you forget about politics. Thanks for watching!
Where in Hammamet is this place please?
Hi, I don't know which place you are talking about?
@@willieexplore the place with the little Aly's, I'm here in Yasmine hammamet this week would love to visit that place
@@kiereec ah right, it is the Medina. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy your visit
Thank you for replying :) @@willieexplore
One super channel! Very very informative. I have subscribed and liked. THANK YOU WILLIE. ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! A wonderful message to receive. I hope my channel will give you lots of joy going forward :)
Welcome to Kosova
Thank you my friend! Appreciate you watching my videos!
Hey Willie. Good to see you again my friend that Cathedral was amazing so much history there in good old cloudy England I've been to London Heathrow airport a couple of times while transiting never went outside. keep up the good work my man 👍👍
Always a pleasure my friend! Certainly lots to explore outside Heathrow Airport, hope you get a chance one day. In the meantime, enjoy a Willie Explore vlog or two!
You put a lot of work into that epic vlog Willie, bringing us lots of information! I love seeing these beautiful English cities and all the gardens. I liked the market comparison to Ebay😂. Always like to visit a tearoom too ( jam then cream ..no butter!)
Hi Sheila! Always a pleasure hearing from you. So much to explore on this beautiful island. Yes, I'm doing a lot of research for my vlogs of late, to be as informative as I could be. Hopefully this adds to the viewer experience as I can talk about history for ages (no pun intended!). Definitely the cream on top for me - but maybe there is a special trick with putting the cream first; at the moment I don't get it though! Haha yes the medieval Ebay was a very different experience to the 21st century one :)
The Norman helmet is the silver one (c). And Chichester has now lost its 100 year conservative seat to the Liberal Democrats! Since you made this video! This explains a lot about what’s currently going on in British politics!
C is the correct answer, Bip! And yes, what a coincidence regarding the election! I actually knocked on the door of the Lib Dems office and Jess (the now new MP but at that stage only an election candidate) opened the door. I explained that I'm a tourist and asked if it is true that Chichester have had conservative rule for a century, which I found to be an extraordinary fact. She said yes and we ended up having a brief conversation about Chichester. Of all the 'politics' in the town I enjoyed reading up about the 1937 Cinema Referendum the most :)
Thank you so much for the brilliant Saturday entertainment, Unbeatable!! Like you, I have lived in this country for many years, and I keep marvelling at all its beauty! I enjoyed the garden and the cathedral, the architecture and all the history! The connection with Chichester and SA. And what a good deal you got with the tea! And the beautiful natural British weather, I never get enough of it! Please make more local content while in the Uk! Cheers 🍺🍺
Hi Bip! Always so wonderful hearing from you and I'm glad you enjoyed this vlog! Unfortunately my England videos have not performed well on KZread so far (in fact, views-wise they compete with Thailand for the lowest viewership or wooden spoon!). Hopefully this vlog and the next ones do better with the algorithm which in turn will allow me to do more vlogs of this beautiful country. I'm putting in a lot of research and effort into my current videos, so hopefully that pays off in the longer game too :) Have a great day my friend!
@@willieexplore I think your Uk vlogs will do better gradually, once you keep doing them. Sometimes it also takes Time, when I posted from South Africa for example, at first the posts were all dead, then after a couple of months 1 of them suddenly had 2.8K views, which is fantastic for me! Same with my Uk videos, dead to start with!
@@travel_and_explore_with_BIP that is very true! Do you share your videos on other social media? Sometimes that helps to get initial traction. I've tried sharing some snippets on TikTok too but may need some help from a Gen Z expert on hashtags haha! But as you say, this is a long game and you just never know when a video will go viral. Some also start with a bang but then stagnate, and vice versa. There is so much content on places like London, for example, so the competition is tough. That is great news on your 2.8K video! Btw I am always up for a collab or just a coffee & chat if you ever feel like that.
@@willieexploreI’ll pick up on your offer in the future Willie, thanks a lot! I haven’t been sharing much on other platforms, both because I find it tiring and also I don’t have many followers yet, I’ve been focusing on KZread, still early days here too! Going to Jamaica in a few weeks so I’ll be posting from there for sure!
@@travel_and_explore_with_BIP wow exciting times ahead for you! Jamaica will be fantastic I'm sure!
One of my all-time favourite travel surprises. Never expected the cathedral to be as imposing and beautiful as it was. Thanks for showing me again!
Isn't it just amazing, Jasper? To think it has stood there for more than 900 years. Appreciate your support!
Thanks, Willie. What a lovely city this is. Thanks for all the research and way you present the historic facts. 10/10.
Baie dankie, Errol! Glad you enjoyed it. It is an absolute pleasure and I'm grateful for your continued support!
Hi willie Nice to see you back Some beautiful old buildings you went to and walked past. A lot of history
Hi Mary, always a pleasure hearing from you! A really interesting place to explore. Looks slightly different here than the West Coast but they say variety is the spice of life :)
You should try to visit countries like bosnia , serbia , Philippines and kyrgyztan
Definitely some interesting suggestions there. Cheers!
Baie oulike video blog.
Groete
I missed the talking in this video
Thanks for watching! Yes, the silent walking tours are not for everyone, but there are those who absolutely prefer it. The idea is to experience a place without narrative or talking, almost like an ASMR experience.
@@willieexplore I appreciate what you are saying however I like it when you give us the historical facts and info.
我想问一下您有没有封面为火山的Indonesia这一本书

Great video, 65 countries, wow. Love to know any that particularly stood out and that you recommend.
Cheers my friend, quite a lot stand out for different reasons. South Africa will always be close to top of the list, but that's because I am biased. As a city I really enjoyed Tallinn - do check out my Estonia vlogs if you haven't already :)
