The magic of RIGA, LATVIA during Christmas period - Silent Walking Tour at night
Hi everyone! This is episode seven of my Baltic plus Finland series in which I travel to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland. In this video, I do a silent walking tour of Riga, the capital of Latvia.
The silent walking tour essentially have two parts - for the first ten minutes or so, I walk around the Old Town in the early evening, where lots of people frequent the Christmas Market and the town square next to the House of the Blackheads. The second part of the video is where I walk the streets of Riga at 2am in the morning, with hardly anyone on the street at that time! Notice the difference between the Christmas Market full of people and the Christmas Market when there is no one!
This video really captures the magic of the Old Town area and I was particularly fond of all the Christmas trees scattered around the city, as well as the snow that gives Riga a magical winter blanket.
