I love these videos !!
If haven't yet make sure you go to a Yasuka's . Last one may be in Interbay , 15th and Dravus . Can still get skin-on chicken , the sauce is thin, not sweet and syrupy , you get lots of rice and cabbage and there's even hot mustard which I recommend .
Be careful…. If you don’t speak Spanish don’t try and travel across Colombia. Even if you do speak Spanish traveling across Colombia is dumb. Go to one tourist cities and stay at the resort.
That does look good, will have to give it a try!
I was a loyal customer of toshios for 22 years before moving out of Seattle. I can still taste it!
That’s why I get strips.
Seattle's food is just like the people 🤢🤢🤮🤮
If you're ever in Federal Way area try Yummy Teriyaki. Really good Chicken Teriyaki
One day in Portland is 2 days too many.
Hate to break it to you man, but you’re so late to the Teriyaki scene. 10-15 years ago the Teriyaki places were the absolute best here in Seattle. 4 out my 5 favorite shops closed down since the pandemic, since they were ran by older Asian couples that pretty much retired. Katsu and Ramen are all the rage atm, teriyaki quality is at an all time low.
Kenai: Can you visit that Teriyaki place on Airport Way South, just south of Jack’s BBQ on the right side (southbound)on AWS….I realize it would be a death defying bicycle ride!!!
Okinawa Teriyaki was one of my go-to lunch destinations when I worked in the ID in the late 2010s. I typically got yakisoba with chicken, no mushrooms.
Kenji, we need an update on Joanna. I hope she got her food truck already 🌮
My favorite Teriyaki is TaJoia in Bothell!
This dang channel always popping up in my recommends at 1am with no Teriyaki places open by me 💀
your telling me this guy ate all the teriyaki in Seattle
If you are going to suggest eating somewhere...LEARN THE PROPER WAY TO SAY THE NAME!!!!!! Scholls is not pronounced like the piece of clothing...shawl....sounds like SHOW LS.....get it right Kenji
I live in Columbia City. So nice to hear that you love the food here too.
Win win. I think everything at Paseo is as good as Un Bien's except the black beans. The roast pork dinner is a better deal than the sandwich, especially if corn is in season.
You haven't had the true experience of what a hotdog can be until you've been to "The Red Hot" in Tacoma. "The Cowboy" is so good that when you take a bite the glorious juices from within burst out into your mouth. Baked beans on the side with house made coleslaw. It just doesn't get any better than this. I come here early on Seahawk Sunday's and gorge with a front row seat. Service is the best. kzread.info/dash/bejne/g3dplLmnadGdkqg.html
For the people still in portland... Who don't know how to get out.
😢 sorry for your taste bud
Mix 😂 The sauce and rice 😮
🎉 I went to butcher college in GEORGE TOWN ❤ 🎉
Gloomy Portland Oregon. It's Summer now. Thanks for reminding me of the miserable Springs, Falls and Winters.
There’s a Canard in Oregon City, too. Just down the street from two pods of food trucks. Excellent place for undecided people because of the many choices.
I am distracted by the total LACK of boats, kayakers and SUP'ers on the lake behind you.
please do sunny teriyaki in magnolia!
They have a joust machine there?
I’m not an expert or anything, but that spicy garlic chicken is pretty excellent. I work around the corner and that green bag is and the smell of the spicy garlic chicken is pretty common.
I lived in Ballard for years and the Teriyaki spot down there is Sunny Teriyaki right at Market & Leary. I was there pretty reliably as I lived right around the corner and it was perfect for those days I didn't want to cook.
This place is so good
I read Apizza Scholls & Portland style pizza in general is considered New haven(New England?) style. :) At least that’s what they Eater article said…
Wtf is New England style pizza? Sounds Lame.
We went there a few weeks ago when we visited Seattle, was fantastic. What kind of rice do they use? I can't make my rice stick like that at home. Gyoza was among the best I've had, thanks Kenji!
I like to order an extra dressing and dump it the rice.
Wow I put up a video and mine is so shaky .
My family ran across this place randomly after doing laundry next door to I love Teriyaki while on vacay. Loved your review too!
Couldn’t be worth $8.
I ate those a decsde a go as a kid with my family . Remember being delicious
If that's the teriyaki joint on the south side of the island I know it's the popular place I always see blue collar workers eating there
Yep…Amazing Sandwich, even better story. Thanks Kenji.
Try bobs burgers teriyaki it’s in seatac
The spicy chicken and mushroom from this place is my favorite thing from any teriyaki place
Thanks bro, Jesus Christ saves whosoever will believe in his blood spilled, the son of God.
Du's
6:48 picks seagull poop off the table for a light snack.
It’s not pronounces “Shawls” it’s pronounced “Shoals”. Sheesh…gotta be local I guess
Don't get robbed, Dangerous city
Myth.
This spot is the #1 video and also #1 teriyaki spot in Seattle!
Go eat teriyaki in your own state your not from Washington
