Beautiful video. I think we definitely forget to slow down and find inner peace and contentment in our fast paced world. I think I’ll go brew up some Sakura Sencha now.😌 🍵

This doesn't make sense. The Pu Boys are not in attendance and this is their specialist area. They have been promoted as the experts so we should have their take on the tea and benefit from their PuErh knowledge. The Pu Boys themselves must be really upset.

I dont quite agreed on longer brewing time as it can makes it astringent and bitter which most westerners makes their tea that way! the bitterness and astringent often hide the original essence of the tea which should be smooth, fragrant, increase the saliva and bring out the fruitiness or floral of the tea leaves.

there is no rules in making tea esp , all you need is to understand the tea, experiment with it, and making changes to the water temperature and amount of tea leaves by learning as you go, one tips to consider if you are not very professional or knowledgeable about brewing tea 1) lesser tea leaves are often better than too much 2) 100 degree boiling water is always better than lower temperature 3) lesser sipping time is often better than over sipping as it can usually makes the tea bitter and astringent. experiment as you go!

I think Japanese green tea like most Japanese things are "over think" and "over control' and "over manipulated" and looses its uniqueness, the chinese green tea retained a lot of its natural flavor and colors and original flavor. no-one take their tea as serious as the chinese.

I am a Japanese tea fanatic living and working in Shanghai for the last 20 years and I have to say you are one of the very few "westerners" who really make an effort to the original destination to pay respect to these beautiful teas, well done !

living and working in china and a tea fanatic I have tasted all sort of chinese tea. recently a trip in Japan I have tested for the first time Japanese black tea but I have to say the Japanese black tea are very similar to Indiana European very strong in flavor which has their very own unique feature whereas the chinese one are extremely smooth and fragrant, unfortunately I have to pick the chinese black tea over the Japanese one. the chinese method of making yea is also more refine and the sipping time is a lot lesser thus giving it a smoother and less astringent and bitterness. the chinese also use extremely old tea trees or wild, semi wild tea tree which goes their tea a lot more Energy or the QI. the chinese have been making tea for thousands of years and they they definitely know how to make the best tea in the world and still is. sorry to say that the many chinese tea I have tasted in Europe and around in world are not the best quality, most are just average quality sold at unreasonable price.

The smokier, the better in my opinion. I don’t mind the non-smoked ones, but if a Lapsung says it is smoked, it better be smoked to the point of having a tar flavour!

The Big Ones really have that life journey vibe this year: First Joy Rider - which incidentally bowled me over in quite a similar way - then Jade Star 8, the mystical pathway - and now a heavy hitting Midnight Oracle! (which you can reach by way of a Moonbeam no less). Not to forget the artist under the Angel's Trumpets, digesting and recreating their experience of life. I sense a story here. - Thank you, Don, for taking the trouble to come up with these treasures and for presenting them in a way that helps to appreciate them. - As always, I wish you, that Ayana's, and consequently yours and Celine's, pathway in life will take an upswing soon! ❤

Ordered it yesterday =) In Germany we have a TV series which is inspired by the British "The Office" it's called "Stromberg". It's the surname of the main character and the nickname for him is not Toad but "Lurchi" and "Lurch" means salamander / amphibian in German. My thoughts are with you and your family. Hope, that all of you are able to cope the situation well. <3

All these kettles on Amazon have 7% or more failure rate be it cheap or expensive. They're all made in China from similar parts bins , and thrown into different body styles. Some over others seem to be more leak prone. IMO , pick whatever you like , cheap or expensive.......sooner or later you'll be replacing it. Likely sooner. In all fairness , the OXO appears to rate better and less negatives.
