Tassie Boys Prospecting

Tassie Boys Prospecting

G'day my name is Levi and I'm a prospector and adventurer of gold living in Tasmania, Australia. I've always loved the outdoors.
It wasn't until later on in life I really got serious about prospecting. This came about after fossicking for gemstones in NE Tasmania. From this, I started researching gold in Tasmaia. From the abundance of information now online I learnt how to prospect and where to find gold. Once I found that first piece of alluvial gold the rest was history, I've had gold fever ever since and I'm extremely passionate about it.

You can't burn any timber , but the river looks stained red from mining contamination. Silly regulations, too little, too late.

Instead of lugging, a heavy lead belt, why don’t you make you a lightweight belt with mesh pockets, and when you get to where you’re going, fill the pockets up with rocks.

I know you have probably thought of this but I have an idea that would probably render you a lot more gold and you wouldn’t be as cold, have better visibility and wouldn’t have to be underwater as long. Have you thought of making a pump(like a large snuffer bottle) to extract the gold and sediment and empty into a bucket. Then you could go through it on the river bank or you could actually take the tailings home with you and go through it there. Once you had the top layer off then you good still do your river sniping.

OMG, what a haul. You found an awesome little load. You are right, not everyone can do this all the time. I can get about 2 days a year and that's it. I love watching your videos and live the adventures through your videos. Stay safe and take care. See you on the next video.

Government telling people to stop living the adventure life can get stuffed. They should be paying you for showcasing Tassie and modelling a healthy life.

Hi Levi, it looks like you have worn through a few fingers on you new gloves. You must be working those rocks quite hard. Wow I wish I could find those kind of patches here in Victoria. 52.64 @$117.80 per gram = $6,200-00 worth of gold

For some of us, all our trips are like that. But to me it's like fishing and we don't stop and most of us keep living in hope of success eventually. The scenery is well worth the effort I feel

Regardless of thylacine, the fact you got a field repair to hold on that raft tear warrants extensive scientific investigation.
