I live in BC Canada 🇨🇦, it is absolutely legal for women to be topless here. Altho I definitely dont take advantage of that option ......in public! 😂 But i hear ya, i get it. Just wear a thin cotton halter top. No bra. U surely will feel light & airy!

well its one of two reasons... most will say modesty should be considered, but in truth there are boobs we love to see, however it brings the creeps out of the woodwork and then there are boobs we don't want to see.... Now you may say its not your problem that men are attracted to women's breasts, true, but if you were a farmer you don't leave your barn door open if you want to keep the animals pinned in.... duh.

Depends on where you live, some countries you can, and some places in usa too, like NY for example. You can wear a burlap sack as clothing if you want, it covers you from the sun while still being well ventilated, but the fashion police (aka other women) will cast judgment on you. Most men don't even care 🤷

It's mostly cultural, sometimes even by law and even religious. However, sounds like you're American, think you can pretty much go around topless lots of places. So not sure who's telling you, you can't. Especially the part of a bra in addition? It all comes down to the question: you as a female in the cultural space you move in, do you want to expose some of your reproductive organs that might induce a sexual response or comments from other people?

No offence, but no one’s stopping you except yourself. Sure people are going to turn around and look because it ain’t the norm, but as far as I know, it’s not illegal here in Canada unless you go out of way to act indecently

@@dragonbunnyyogastories culture changes with action. If you yourself cannot mentally defy it then there is no point to calling it out. Every full vase starts with with the first drop. If don't dare to start pouring then there is no goal in complaining that the vase is empty. Either you feel comfortable with the status quo and don't question it or you feel uncomfortable with it and defy it. Be the first drop

Madam, I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario and here in Thunder Bay Ontario, we have a law that specifically states that women can walk around topless during hot summer days for this very specific reason that you were talking about. But this is not a men's and women's issue. This is a women's choice issue. We have a law here that supports women going topless but now the ball is in your court and it's your choice whether you want to walk around topless in public or not because at that point you're taking all the responsibility upon yourself. Hi. I actually think it literally does speak to cultural expectations of men and women. Even though it’s legal to be topless, it’s not something that has been normalized. Even breastfeeding women can be chastised in public spaces.
