That chippie did a shit job. All that planning you had to do
Nah mate he did a good job. Some of the timber was so bloody bent it’s a miracle I only had to do the planning that I did.
Shed and living space come out awesome mate!!! We are looking at doing something similar hopefully. What's the price range on that size shed mate? Cheers!!
Thanks mate. At the time it was around $200k. Add driveway, septic and getting power to the site was another $100k.
Thanks for sharing mate!
No problem 👍
Merci!
Thank you 🍻
THIS is the video that I wished I found first time I searched. I had to do some service on my Honda BF30 and you made it all accessable and doable. Thank you!
Your welcome. Thanks for the great feedback. 🍻
Nesesito el estar del honda 30

Cheers mate.
Presios del estar d un 30 honda
Not sure what you mean mate. Translation to English didn’t make sense.
What propeller is that you use I have the bf35 with a plastic prop and get about 20 knots and was hoping a metal one may be a bit better
It is the stock propeller the engine came with. Not sure what the pitch or anything of it is. It is metal though.
What a wicket shed, great inspiration , I’m in the process of doing a similar thing
Thanks mate. Hope yours isn’t as stressful as my build was.
Thanks mate. Hope yours isn’t as stressful as my build was.
Well done Champ, great effort! Looking great! Hope you are enjoying your time there.
Cheers mate. I’m happy with it.
How pathetic are tradies nowadays.. There all f&%kin useless..
How big is the build? Looks huge.
19x9 mate.
Awesome Mate congratulations 🎊 👏
Thanks 👍
Mate your a hero your suffering and patience definitely paid off. May I wish you and your family all the blessing and happy home.
Thank you mate. It definitely tested me.
Curious what did something like that set you back? Look it at doing the same
About $200k mate
Hey mate, I’ve been looking to do the same thing but with ICF to help go completely off grid. I’m looking to go in the n/nw in the Gippsland in VIC. I do want a basement to so that should be interesting. This is a great eye opener because I want a shed house to. One thing I’ve learnt seeing this and a few more videos is stay on site as much as possible and learn as much about other trades as possible. Cheers mate for this, really enjoyed watching the series getting it done. Just a quick question. How high is your is the top floor from floor to ceiling? Again cheers
Glad it was helpful mate. Shed is 5m to the gutter then 6.2 to the roof apex. The mezzanine is around 2.8m from slab. Add the thickness of it to that. So it’s not full height at around the perimeter when walking around the mezzanine.
Dude! Try using a small fan to keep the bugs off.
Yeah that might help. 🍻
There is a 5th bolt on 2005 BF50A lower unit. It’s under the tab trim anode.
I wonder if greasing the bolt would increase the electrical resistance between the block and the zinc?
Not sure mate.
That cupboard for the fridge in the kitchen looks bloody awful.! Can’t get to the microwave and look at the cupboard space you lost!
How would you have designed it?
@@AusAdventure surely there must have been somewhere else. It spoils the whole look of the room
Geez mate what a freaking mission! I wanna go down the same path next year (go myself from lock up stage). I don't have any building experience (yet). Do you have some advice where to get some good info from?
It was a mission. Best advice would be to find someone that knows what they are doing to get the right advice. It’s worth giving it a crack if that’s what you want to do though.
Can see the dip in the ridge line from the thumbnail hahah
I could use you on my next build with those laser level eyes.
Looks awesome 🤙🤟👍
Thanks mate. 🍻
I really enjoyed your video and sorry for being ignorant, but why do you wear that neck warmer thing around your face?Is it to stop wind burn?
It’s to stop sun burn.
@@AusAdventure just got a tinny myself and i'm getting inspiration from your videos.I'm in mooloolaba and new to this fishing/camping game.
Sweet mate. Hope you like it
Credit to you for such a mammoth achievement and doing so much of it yourself.
Thanks mate. At times it felt like it was too big of a job but I got there in the end.
Amazing build love it!
Thanks Mate 🍻

That sucks mate. Hope you figure it out.
Just a thought On my outboard which is an older BF45A there is a fifth bolt under the anode plate holding the leg on. Need a 12mm wrench to get it out. You make great videos.
Thanks mate.
nice job. fibreglass does not stop breaking down. I prefer wool bats.
Thanks. The batts were called earth wool. So not sure what the difference is.
@@AusAdventure ok sounds good.
Hi mate, I watched the entire video and it looks REALLY great, well done!
Thanks mate 🍻.
Mate you deserve a huge congratulations on the build. Love it, and I'm sure the Fam do too. All the best.
Thanks Scott. It was a slog but I got there in the end. Cheers 🍻
Did you need to get an owner builders license?
Yes you do.
@@AusAdventure Thankyou!
Build looks mint, What size is the shed mate?
19x9 mate.
hey house shed looks prefect. this is exactly what i wanna build. any chance you could send a couple of the plans? save me alot of time and money give me a huge running start. no stress if you dont feel comfortable with it.
Hey mate thanks for watching. I’m travelling until the end of the year and don’t have the plans with me so can’t help ya right now. A lot of the plans are site specific anyway so probably wouldn’t be much help besides the basic floor plan.
@@AusAdventure hey mate hope your enjoying your travels and no stress, floor plan would have been more than enough even just to have a idea on size and heights. I have trouble looking at a plan and trying image how big that will be in actual size but I can see your shed and how well that thought though. Would you change anything after being in there a while?
@@ben52145it can always be bigger. Wish it had 3 bedrooms now as the kids are being a pain sharing a room. But over all pretty happy with it.
OUTSTANDING JOB! Complete service. Fast, Complete and to the Point
Thanks mate. 🍻
Well done you ! I'm wanting to do the same thing. I will go Solar as well. Huge Logistics as I'm moving over from New Zealand. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.
Hi. Finding reliable tradies who do quality work is probably my most important tip. It’s a lot less stressful when you have that. Good luck with your move.
@@AusAdventure Yes. Thank you. Enjoy your new home 👍
Hey mate random question but where did you get your tiles from? Or can you remember what they are called? I’m liking them for my kitchen we are doing atm cheers.
We got all the tiles from The Tile Market at Arundel on the Gold Coast.
Stunning mate
Cheers mate.
This is my first vid, Living my dream mate...Shed over house priority......
Thanks for watching it mate. Shed is the priority 👍
Concrete ninja not in your area?
What’s concrete ninja?
Great video, thanks
My pleasure!
Very nice mate! Probably best overall Aussie shed house video on KZread. I reckon I might do a similar build. Ball park cost?
Cheers mate. About $200k not including the driveway, retaining wall and getting power to the site.
@@AusAdventure That's great value. Thanks for that. Def gonna look into it.
What an eyesore. The neighbours must be delighted, unless of course, they are all bogans too.
Hey mate just finished watching your shed house build videos. Bloody inspirational. Makes me want to get off me butt and get finished on my 6x6 putting a Mezanine floor in and storage. On this vid I noticed you have bugger all rust throughout your trailer. You get out a lot more then myself for sure so I was wondering what tips you have for keeping the rust at bay on the springs etc I give mine a decent wash down but it’s so bad after maybe 5 years I am ashamed.
Hey thanks Paul. Yeah I give the trailer a very good wash after each use but I also spray it with Inox or WD40 depending on what I have on hand at the time.
@@AusAdventure do you do that after every wash? I bought the salty captain stuff and always what I thought was a solid wash. Maybe I need to get the pressure washer out or something followed by the innox or wd40. So annoying
Really nice! Will the mezzanine develop as the Family gets older?
Thanks Andrew. Mez will turn into a man cave eventually 🍻
I've built hundreds of sheds contracting and I've seen some nice designs and colours, yours looks like it's ironstone or close to. Definitely a good choice of colour, one thing I will be doing when building my house shed is double wrapping the east and west side as well as the roof with that silver insulation and reason being is I've had my frozen water bottle single and double, let's just say the double wrap made my water stay frozen all day in 40 degree heat 🤷🏼♂️
The colour is monument. I really liked the darker colours. Yes that insulation makes a huge difference. Thanks for watching the vid. 🍻
G'day mate great shed, what size sheets did you use for your mezz floor? Just about to do mine cheers
They were the red tongue. Pretty sure they are the one standard size. They are just thicker than the yellow tongue.
Great work! My Honda outboard need a full service. I do have some semi pro mechanics and skilled amateurs to guide me and also lend me tools but this didn't look deterrent. I THINK I can do it
I know you can do it. 👍
Great Vid. Thanks!
Thanks mate.
