SHED HOUSE BUILD as an owner builder - Part 1 Earthworks and rock retaining wall.

G'day, for the past two years I have been building my own dream shed house. In this video It all kicks off with the earth works and building a 3m high rock retaining wall to give me a flat pad to build the shed on. I have no experience in building so it was a massive learning curve. I had plenty of hurdles along the way.
Shed itself is 19m x 9m and 5m high. Liveable part is 7m x 9m and above that is a mezzanine which is accessed but the shed side. All built to class 1a so dwelling standard. Shed house , tiny home or barndominium, what ever you call it I think it’s a cost effective way of building a home.

More info on the law of living in a shed would be nice,as we all know government won’t let us live in a shed,it crap as housing shortages loom over head,plenty of Australian got a bush block,

It’s built to class 1a which is a dwelling not a shed. That’s how I am able to do it. A lot more compliance issues goes along with that building class unfortunately.
