  I drive a GR circuit edition, Corolla with no sunroof, but I do have a carbon fiber roof that drops the weight by 200 pounds I never have to worry about leaks from my sunroof because it doesn’t exist

  Honestly I’d rather have plastic over my head than glass. I’d rather not have a sunroof at all but it’s becoming a standard now for some reason.

  My fear is how will this crack in a roll over? Cause automotive glass is safety glass that breaks in to dust and small chips so that a shard doesn’t stab you. But if this just cracks in to 3 pieces I would assume it’s much more dangerous.

  @@GXKid06 true but depending on the kind of plastic it will deform much more that glass would before it snaps into shards, where automotive glass goes straight to glass chips. It does take a lot to get to that point, but again I’d rather just not have a sunroof at all so there’s not much I can really say.

  It’s acrylic or laminated glass. Many older cars use it but the newer ones are replaced with tempered glass Edit- after looking at the label, the glass is actually laminated

  It says rigid plastic material. Its plexiglass. It even has a bunch if sun damage fractures that are visible in the right light kinda like some headlights get.

  It feels faster than the first gen and honestly when you are just driving around its punchy. Obviously if you are drag racing someone its not gonna win, but i never found myself wanting more power.
