Lexus GX470 Restoration Part 1
I picked up this GX470 as a fun project to bring this Lexus back to its former glory. it was really rough when I got it but I was able to totally bring this thing back to life. I definitely had my doubts at first but the end result turned out amazing. below is everything that I did to this car on and off camera.

It was a fun way to spend a few months. I was worried the engine was blown when I bought it because of how loud the fan clutch and alternator were. But it all worked out.

@@TJC450 considering what I sold it for yea and what they go for. That’s way below market in California on one of those. But I was up to the challenge of fixing it up.
I would like to know the issue for the back up tilting side mirror. Since mine isn’t working rn too. Excited to see this restoration project 👍🏽

I found that if you slide the switch that you use to adjust the mirrors to the middle you can turn this feature off. Mine actually stopped doing the clicking after i washed it i think some debris was stuck in there so i didn’t further look in to it.

Just checked it, and my mirror setting was set to the middle. Once I clicked it to the right, the mirror started working but the mirror started clicking when it started to angle down. Hopefully if I wash the rig, mine will stops clicking too. Haha
