Sounds way more beastly with a cold air intake I use cold air intakes in all of my 3rd gen 4runners
Just installed mine no check engine light and really nice sound😎. I did HPS with polished aluminum pipe

I was able to get 50 MPG by buying a Prius otherwise I got 9 MPG with my heavy foot in the Lexus.

Does it sound that aggressive under casual, around town acceleration and constant hwy speed or is the intake sound volume tied to how much throttle is pushed?

Off throttle its quiet.
It sound cooler at times....but there is better intake out there that soun better ....I wouldn't get it...it's like putting tiger paws (tires)on a bentley

Mine was free, so free Intake is best intake.

Delete your muffler and keep stock resonator at back - it works and sounds badass. No codes.

No it’s a completely stock exhaust

I actually got this as loose parts from the grey project GX that I made videos about a while back.
