This must be one of the best rules explainers I have ever watched. Well done sir!
This is the best explanation I have ever seen. Keep up the good work, sir
The mini figures look awesome
I was pretty late getting into Nemesis... your video was the best how-to-play on this game I've found yet... cheers from 2024.
you just posted exactly what i wanted to say to him !!!! hahahaha 3 weeks later
This is the LAST video they ever published, RIP Board game Replay
Appreciate that friend. It’a been a long time!
Just dusted off my copy of this game and dug up this video to refresh myself on the rules. I miss this style of content and it's sad it's been 5 years since their last upload. This hits the middle ground between purely "teach and review" videos and the full hours long live streams that are common today. I like the post-game chat with examples, it's how I gain an understanding of the game, not just mechanically what to do on a turn.
Thank you, very much appreciate that. We had fun making these and are very glad to hear it was helpful for others. Definitely miss those days! :)
What a fantastic teaching video. Thanks!
Awesome video. I'm buying the game.
Love this game! Any time I go for long stretches without playing I revisit your video to help refresh my memory before Game Night! Appreciate how detailed and quick this video is! Thanks.
Cool game, cool gameplay 😊
I used to love to play this as a kid.
Almost got this game recently for a good price but decided it was too similar to Kemet. Hope I wont regret this.
15:23, I am confused as to why you are being penalized as the Bear enclave for defending your territory? If I am seeing this correctly, the Die Mechaniker is moving into the bear enclaves territory and is therefor attacking. So where is this -1 to defence penalty derived from? Die Mechaniker's ability is only applicable if the player of that factions is DEFENDING.
Very good tutorial 10/10!
It's pronounced Del-feye (like wifi) not Del-fee.
Do you take an event card every turn even if you don't have an intruder on the board?
There are actually 2 player phases in one round rather than one.
lol...the show was based on the books.
Watched multiple videos to learn the game. This is the best : )
31:30. When I attack a intruder and draw it's hitpoint card. If intruder doesn't die, what happens next? In video alien had 4hp. Will one intruder attack card stay with one alien until endgame or you get new card every round? Can it happen that injured ones may die by lower value and card luck without any combat
The "Queen must die" objective to be fulfilled the Queen has to have spawned, right?
Thanks, been trying to figure this game out and your video was a big help!
Thank you for the video!
Brilliant, I always go back to rhis video for a refresh on the rules.
Cool to see how fireball island changed over the course of its initial prototype and final release
Hi bud I havent played the game but there are some gaps. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mWWC0KOBoNfHlag.html After performing Careful movement you must put 1 noise token to adjacent corridor of your choose.
I miss this series
I played it once and I was the helms + shields + tractor beam-guy. That was intense! And really fun! I was looking forward for our next play. I also was happy to have played with really nice people.
Wow.... my first time here. You guys are awesome! I really like this format you guys have here and the great editing! Thanks for the awesome video!
In the wildlands game - if we want to play interrupt card - after an attack has been made- what happens
Also, I find it funny that, when I was thinking the guy using the Imperial Balkanians should take Australia they say, "no one's taking Australia." then he takes Indonesia (its in Australia)
At 5:48 the guy on the right enters is password to his phone in broad daylight.
Very good video. I read the manual and was a little bit overwhelmed by the rules (even though I understood them, there were too many rules hahahhaa). But after watching the video, the rules were much clearer! Just a small correction: I don't know if I missed it, but isn't the video missing the rule that if there is a closed door on the corridor an intruder is going to move (on the event phase), the intruder don't move but the door is destroyed?
I miss this channel. I hope that you're all well. Old fan here rewatching the video as we have started playing Chaos in the Old World again recently.
You fucking faggots didn't even do it right!!!!
Great review!!!!!
3mins in and I know I made a good choice clicking on this video.
This is one of the nicest explanations I have seen; thanks for it
Quick question- during the craft phase, do you discard a card ( to activate the craft) and then discard 2 cards to craft? Or just discard 2 cards to craft as you mentioned? Thank you. This is my "go to" video
Rule correction: you do not only put down one engine token on the board. You put both and they stack on top of each other. The top token indicates the current state (rulebook page 26).
Best explanation video I have seen on Nemesis, thanks :D Sd that this is the last video on this channel… And this video is referenced in the games manual :)
Heh at least the channel went out on a bang
Thanks for the video!
how well does this game work as 2 players?
Nice:
Hi! I just played Spartacus and I was a point away from victory just before the bidding for "Host". I had the most money in a 4 player game. So I would have won the auction and get the point. But one of the players just gave away all of his money to another player so the other play can win the "host" and deny me the victory point. The question is: can you just give all of your coins to another player without any connection to a card or exchange of something else in the game? I really hope someone can resolve this beyond shadow of a doubt : )
Money can change hands at any time so (un)fortunately this is possible to do, yes ;) That is the nature of the system.
Got distracted by the bloke who wouldn't put his mobile down for one second.
I was too old when the original came out to be aware it existed but I just picked up a mint condition copy of this remake with 2 expansions, all in boxes, for $22. Trying it tomorrow.
On a normal move, can I then use in 1 turn 2 times normal move and go two rooms further.
Is the full gameplay available?
Quick question. If the objective is to destroy the nest or kill the queen, and I do this by the means of self destruct or other ways to destroy the ship, do I need to "survive" by escaping in the pods or not? Basically, do I win, even if I'm dead, as long as the objectives are met?
