How is thunderstone quest 3 months later? I’m on the fence, and I also just got wildlands and mechs vs minions so I figure we have similar tastes

Sweet!

It was a little hard to see what the actual difference was between the unquiet dead and the other factions. I could tell that there was a difference, but I couldn't really say what it was. That said, it did seem to change the game a little. I do like that aspect.

Nym Alous I see what you’re saying. It’s a little tricky from just a game play video from this angle to see the specific differences with each faction. We talked for a bit about it in our discussion video about how they actually differ in terms of their action cards and their ability to activate (29:50) that might help a bit more! :)

Hard for me to see how the u dead change gameplay. Are they just an extra player faction?

The Undead expansion is mostly just adding another player faction. The player faction plays quite differently though as it's 6 units instead of 5 like the other base game factions. In addition the way their cards activate them is fairly unique when compared to the other factions. For us they were a welcomed addition to the game. In the 3rd play through video we posted you can see the additional scenario the expansion adds where use the models from the Unquiet Dead INSTEAD of playing them as a faction.

Hi, very nice playthroughs, I think in your plays always draw two cards after play the first card and so you go up the limit of 7 cards in hand, the rules says you can't exceed that limit and only draw 1 card instead. Is this correct or not?

Thank you for your quick answer! I read the rules from bgg files, but maybe that's not final, I like it how the game plays and that rule can change the turn of the player. In page 14 on BGG say this: "DRAW TWO CARDS Immediately draw two action cards. If this would bring you above seven cards, you instead only draw one action card".

Gustavo Javier Ruiz Santicchio thanks for watching! You are correct about reaching the hand limit when drawing cards from Wilds! We overlooked this one early on apparently :) In a few of those cases we should have only been drawing 1 card since we were at our limit of 7. Outside of that, the hand limit only applies at the end of your turn when drawing cards. You always draw 3 unless doing that would take you over 7 cards. In that case you draw until you reach 7... Anyway, thanks again for watching...and good catch on that rule mistake! :)
