If the pump is making between 80 psi and 350 psi in reverse, could that boost valve still be leaking internally and lowering actual fluid pressure at the reverse servo? Truck acts like this is happening, acts like only 50 psi is going to the reverse accumulator when a pressure gauge says its making 80 psi - 350 psi, from idle to revved up. All forward gears don't slip at all, reverse slips above 1200 rpm, can hear the reverse band slipping on the reverse drum when it does this. The reverse accumulator has new seals, the pin length is not too short, the reverse band is new, the reverse drum is new. In drive pressure is 80 psi - 150 psi, from idle to revved up. I don't know what modifications the pump and/or valvebody has, I assume it has been modified because of the high reverse pressure.

What is the smallest rotary table you would recommend using to machine a 6L90 with a fixture like this? I only plan to do 1 or 2 ever and have wanted a rotary table for my mill, but can't justify the cost of an 18" table for what I use it for. Thanks for the videos.

I found the answer: If the compensator feed is not holding air it’s because you either have a cracked drum or a worn seal on the drum. GM 24226393 (3-5REV Drum seal)

I don't know where the 'extreme cold weather' excuse came from, but these thermostat controls were put in for emissions purposes. Warm the engine/system up as quickly as possible to get the catalytic converters operating as efficiently as possible. Not optimum temp, not fuel mileage, not to prevent freezing,.... Emissions b&**$^%t. These transmissions from the AODE and on ran just fine without the thermostat for decades and were finally imposed on the auto industry in ~ 1997-ish. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

@@figurefour633i got a new drum and all new parts same thing what could it be What about the compensator feed port which is the middle port between 1234 and 35r when you air check it it clicks but after that never does it again and leaks to the 456 port what could that be? And to get the compensator to re click i believe you have to hit the 35r or 1234 with air to de apply the compensator to get it to click again after that it just leaks to the 456 after it clicks once with shop air benching Could that mean my sealing rings are bad on the input shaft?
