Hey Richard, watched your latest video (little Harbor Fright air hammer). You have the comments turned off on that video. I know you have your reasons....totally understand. At any rate, I really like your tool setup for removing sticky valves. Thanks for sharing.

I just repaired a 4l60e that had that commercial pack in it. The inner teeth we severely worn down. Just the ones in the middle of the stack. I prefer just plain old "six pack stack". Thank you sir for this post

i dont see no load springs they have to be in there to keep the residule oil from behind 3-4 piston at higher rpms from burning them up i use 7 factory thick clutches 82 thick borg or exxdy and 76 thick steels from 700 and one 100 thick steel the thin clutches and steels cant take the heat and teeth wear really fast and set clutch clearance real tight like 20 thousand because after a few shits there set in and looser already corvette servo is a must in everyone as well smartens up 2-3 shift lag they all have and saves front band and drum burn up i have done 1500 of these and fianly figured out a decent set up they outlast the vehicle after also take a long 3\16 air craft drill bit and go down in the rear shaft and clean out the front drum brown lube seal parts that always end up plugging the bottom lube hole on every one you take apart will have material in there and surprise no more rear planetary failures either just a few things ive found on 60es mr wardell ur a sharp builder watch all ur videos have picked up many things

@@rdick218 ya I'm a lil tight I'd say. Just got done with one that burnt the 3-4 pack a d found not find a problem. It's time I get set up with the vacuum tester. And all the reamers from sonnax.

The only thing I know is they were tan. Could be Borg Warner or Alto. Aren't the GPZ's green? I have 4 GPZ's here that are, and I just ordered 4 more and steels to go back in. Sorry. I just threw all tan 3-4 frictions I had in the trash. Now also it could have been a bad batch....... Time will tell. I hope so because I'm going to have quite a few to fix if not. Going forward I'm using the GPZ's.
