Hi my name is Marco, a former pro opera singer, turned voice actor, turned youtuber. I grew up loving video games and video game music after first discovering them when I was 7 years old and since then I have lived and breathed all things video games. I have a channel all about video game music - the beauty of modern composition, how it allows us to connect deeper to the games we love, and how we can better learn to understand ourselves through it and the experiences it provides.

Songs filled with a sense of the bittersweet, implying despite the odds there is hope in the end. Meanwhile Riot Control: DIE- DIE- MURDER- KILL- GIVE UP- RUN- DIE- KILL.
this music suck tbh
The world in star citizen is aftermath of the fall of the empire of man. I get serious despair vibes off the start of this song but then second half it will go in to more uplifting mood on top of the moaning, with this "we will rise again" mentality.
Herald of Finality recomend reaction!!!
It doesn't have that dark and menacing vibe that Shadowbringers had, and I loved the spacey and tender sound of the Endwalkers launch trailer; And here the Dawntrail is telling a story with the music, with jungle-inspired jaunty music and a suggestion that we're journeying in unknown lands. My favourite part is the chorus, it sounds like it's giving tribute to someone who has courage and resolve, corresponding with scenes of combat in the trailer.

Everybody in the entire world know this song from an old Commodore 64.. Lazy Jones - Star Dust kzread.info/dash/bejne/i6ej1Kmbe9q0nKQ.html
I hope you get cancelled for selling out to those scamming game apps like "Last War".
"Zwillingstürme im Herbst" is certainly an interesting title for a Soundtrack. the literal translation is "Twin Towers in Fall/Autumn", wonder if thats saying something about the Context in the Game
“Who is Pantheon?” A MAN.
Marco I saw the ad you were in for the game Last War: Survival game. My jaw dropped when I saw you. 😂
Bruh, that Ace Combat monstrosity offended my ears. Deserves at least a 5.
Let's press on, and on, and on!
14:22 that silent "oh" of fully realizing what youre about to have to do
you never lose on that game, it's win to win scenario, you just fall behind if you are not active but will catch soon either
the original Hell March is the best hype music for a war themed videogame. i haven't played c&c or red alert for decades but i still think about that song all the time. such a banger.
damn i gotta carve some of my hades 2 time to replay Transistor
If you listen close throughout the witness fight, you will hear every theme of your allies played by the same instruments as the guardian/light theme. It goes from The Witch Queen's theme, to the eliksni's theme, to the Cabal's theme, to the lightfall theme, then to the Guardian's theme and I think into the Traveler's theme to top it off.
We need ghostfinal for this game
“FIOOOOORRRAAAAAA!!!!” Everything outside of Xenoblade I’ve seen of Carina Reeves I can’t help but hear Fiora. Also, its because of the role Fiora plays in the opening of the game that got me hooked on Xenoblade, and I think a big part of why I continue to love it (and rewatch cutscenes) is because of both the music, but especially the voice acting. The entire cast of 1 is great. Minor music spoilers for Xenoblade Chronicles 1: In regards to the music of Xenoblade, it’s fantastic. I love it. My favorite song is actually the Unique Monster battle theme - “You Will Know Our Names” - which also plays for 4 bosses in the main story. While “You Will Know Our Names” is a great song on its own, when it’s preceded by “Engage the Enemy”, it’s just that much better. Those two together are my favorite tracks from Xenoblade 1.
The way you visibly grow uneasy with just the first notes of 14.3 Billion Years is wow, I feel you.
How do you spell the piece she is referring to at 26:36?
You know whats missing from this? Beverly hills theme pc version
The pizza theme is funny because it increases the pitch constantly
Yo, idk where else to put suggestions than here, but I'd love to see how you react to some Homestuck music. While homestuck is not a video game, it's contents have heavy video game inspirations and mechanics. Homestuck itself is a web comic written and drawn (mostly) by Andrew Hussie. It depicts a group of kids playing a game that ends the world, simple (this is a lie, but I'd like to avoid spoilers). The music made for the comic was more so for the flash animations that served as climatic moments of the story, where dialouge was not needed and many actions needed to happen quickly. The music is almost entirely made by the community that surrounded the comic when it was ongoing, with some names floating around that would get their chance in the spotlight later (like Toby fox) Anyway, the music made for the comic is quite something. While most of it went unused, about 6-7 volumes were made and approved by Andrew, with each song being surrounding a specific location, character, or concept within the comic. As for what I recommend to check out first, I would look at maybe Sunslammer or Moonsetter privately to sort of dip your toes in. They aren't the best of all the tracks, but certainly aren't the worst either. As for what to watch on camera (if your intrigued of course) then "At the Price of Oblivion", "Suburban Jungle", and "Black" are all good picks. I could recommend more, but this is already a paragraph and a half long, and some songs would be better to view with their respective flash and context. Oh yeah, if you are looking for something more visual, then the song "Rex Duodecim Angelus" has a cannonised fan animation made using it as inspiration. While context for what is happening is not expressly needed to understand the song or animation, and technicly the animation bears no major spoilers, due to the Nate of homestucks setting it can be very confusing to people who don't know what they are getting into. Either way, I hope you at least look at some of these songs, video or not.
I just found your Non-gamers react videos and watched the whole playlist XD It has been really interesting, fun, and informative listening to all of their thoughts and opinions about the different game music. Also love the variety of music that you presented to them. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series! Thank you!!
Not gonna lie, I'm surprised there's not a single Tales of or Dragon Quest song here. I love both series, but their osts are pure trash.
I don't think anything will ever top Crazy Bus Title theme, but Fire Emblem 1 Shop theme is rough too.
You cannot escape final lesson
I love how there is a "ticking clock" hitting throughout the song. Not only with the metronome, but certain notes throughout the song hit the same "note" the metronome is making at times when it is absent.
Her voice immediately brought on the XC1 nostalgia. One of my favorite characters of all time.
Personal rankings for these: Mansion basement: kinda reminds me of the shadow beast theme from twilight princess, except worse in every way lmao - 9 Nocturne: it's almost kinda funky at points? definitely needs some work, but it has a little bit going for it - 4 Locked: Why was this suggested? - 0 Cry of Giegue: I wouldn't exactly call this "music", but it is pretty dang terrible. Although, a lot of sound effects are that bad if they get played on repeat. Classifying it as music though? - 10 Insert Coin: Yeah, it kinda sounds bad. It's not a terribly composed track, and with some change in tempo and instrumentation, it might even be kind of decent. In it's current state though, yeah it's kind of grating and would drive you insane if you had to listen to it for too long. - 5 Cursed Rotted Greatwood Tree: I can see this from the perspective of casual listening, but as a piece in a video game I think this is genuinely a good piece. I haven't played dark souls but I can imagine this boss being somewhat of a spectacle with this theme playing in the background. - 0 Pizza Theme - Instrument/synth used is a little grating, but it's really kind of a fun piece and I don't mind it much at all. - 1 Crazy Bus: Yup. - 10
I wish we can use those UI. The Grineer UI gives a Doom feel of design, and I like the crosshair on the Corpus ui
I saw your ass on the Top War commercial and I respect the bag chase 🫡🫡
Literally the only game I am interested in from these showcases.
You really should take some time to react to : XaaaCi. (Ar tonelico 3)
One of the best (if not the best) pieces of music in this amazing game, the fact that it's an extended version of the track we hear in Amaurot is so sad and powerfull
I normally don't take cutscenes in this game very seriously, but I have not felt this much emotion since the khvostov mission back in D1. The bar was in the floor for me for this one, but they completely blew my expectations out of the water. Even if it had its moments. Beautiful send off after 6 years of build up. Kudos Bungie, you deserve to be proud of your work.
The second song Nocturne is just a bad version of the Big arm theme from the sonic 3 and knuckles
Review the geometry dash main menu theme
Is it bad that I only recognised the animal crossing some from a tokyo machine remix?
SH2 & SH3 has THE BEST ost in silent hill series
NieR Automata: A Beautiful Song
Mass Effect - Uncharted Worlds
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Theme
GTA San Andreas Theme Song
The second Ghost popped up with "I know what to do" in the final battle they hit my feels, the Ghost's scream pulled my feelings out and his shell falling beat me with those feelinigs. Cayde shoved them back in and twisted them a bit. It was perfection for an end to such a glorious series
Halo theme original.
