I would rather keep it as one piece, I never want to sew two pieces together, NO, NO, NO !
The only reason I cut anything off of these jeans was because there was so much excess after bringing the pants up to the correct length. After a while, you might be able to notice the bulk and unless it is secured, you could trip if wearing heels. Believe me, it happened to me. I nearly fell down a flight of stairs when the heel of my shoe got caught in the “excess material” left on the pants.
Thanks so much for a great video! I like how you explained everything and all the steps. The pacing was just right for me to follow along! I hate hemming jeans, but this method is going to be much better! It's a game changer for sure!
You can do it! Thank you for the kind words.
@@kimberlyanndesigns1 My jeans came out awesome! No more paying for alterations on my jeans! Thanks again for your help!😀
Love it! Thank you
Is there a Max high the utensils must not exceed?
You might have to check on the Cricut website. I know Dollar tree spatulas were perfect. The “harder” the metal, the harder it is to engrave
❤
Aww you’re so sweet. Thank you
hi Kimberly thanks so much for your video really enjoyed it, I found the information in the video to be very helpful as I have just finally got myself a Cricut Maker3 and I got myself the quick swap tool with the Engraving tip and my Knife Blade, so your video really helped me, Once I have got my Machine out of the box. Have you tried the engraving Tip on Basswood was wondering if the engraving tip works on wood, will try this for myself, just got to buy some Basswood, I think I have some Metal Blanks in my crafty stash.
You’re gonna love your Cricut! I’ve used the engraving tip on Dollar Tree spatulas. I also used it on metal guitar picks. I haven’t done basswood. I’m sure it will work well. Just make sure you use a mm that will work with the machine. If it’s too thick, it can’t go under the rollers. 😊
My tip always clogs
Always keep it tip side down.
If I’m not using it for a while, I take it out and cover it with
@@kimberlyanndesigns1 i usually do but I didn’t use it for a bit so it clogged meaning a month or two lol
@@kimberlyanndesigns1 had the tip on it For some reason it’s been the only one to ever do it
I’m am going to try This no saw another review I love it
It really helps with my hands for sure. Thanks for watching.
Would be great if the music weren’t playing in the back. Ugh
Such a pity you play music over your talking :( It was very difficult to hear what you were saying.
I had trouble with that. I tried to add a new voiceover and had trouble adding it. I apologize. it’s my only video that I had trouble with.
Thank you so much for doing this! It was so easy! Ans my son thinks I’m a genius! This video was so helpful
Well that’s a great compliment. Way to go Mom.
OMG….love how you used your cricut heat press! 😂
Just like using an iron!! lol. Thanks for watching.
Clever girl! looks good. Cynthia South Africa
Thank you. Gotta be creative sometimes to save money. Thank you for watching.
How do we know when Michael’s makes up Grab boxes after each holiday. I usually miss them
Unfortunately we really don’t. I think They come out about 3 times a year. It’s well after clearance prices for a season. I’m not even sure the employees know either. I end up stalking the store although, I go there a lot anyway. 🤣
Thanks
You’re welcome
I love your video! I can’t wait to decorate my sons!
Thank you for watching. It was fun to make.
Great tour of your home-you are a genius at organizing small spaces! Thanks for the many tips! You should be linking products that you can get some credit for :)
Great idea!! Thanks for watching.
Which blade did you use? I need to buy engraving blade.
Its blade number 41. Cricut.com has it on sale this week for $13.99.
So many great ideas here! I especially love the use of lazy Susans in different areas. Thank you for sharing. Though the rooms you presented don’t appear small at all to me, I appreciate this may be down to how well-organised they are with respect to lifestyle.
Thank you for watching. We downsized a few years ago and my old house had a lot of storage space. Linen closets, bathroom closets, large bedroom closets, etc…it does take some getting used to…and planning. The love lazy Susan’s! I even use them in my craft room. 😊
Sooo cute! ❤
Thank you, worked like a charm
Great to hear!
The best finishing i have watched so far..But I love my pants very much so dont fell confident.. I cut the original hem and just fold and sew again..cant compromise the finishing..
I understand. It can be scary.
Hello, what are your settings?
honestly I don’t remember. I always need to test out settings on scrap material first.
Can I ask you what your markers are organized in?
I have a wooden box that I put small buckets in. They look like little paint buckets. I think I found them at Goodwill.
Loved watching this!!! Thank you
Thank you. I appreciate it.
What kind of paint u r using to stick on epoxy
I used craft acrylic paint colors.
What about water and washing the floor what will happen the paint may be melted and diffused. I have one small broken piece on porcelain tile and need to color it with glazing effect what do u suggest. Color is white similar to carara matble
A tile sealer works well to protect the repair. If a feathering or other technique is needed, I would first practice on a paper plate or a spare piece of tile, if you are lucky enough to have one. Try using different things like a sea sponge or small artist brushes to get the desired effect. A fan brush or other flat brush might work great to get down into cracks. Add color to your white if needed. Gray or blue may work well. Then I would use a tile sealer after it has thoroughly dried. Hope this helps.
So everyone gets a bag of pine ones for Christmas and maybe a roll of ribbon!😂
Flowers from pinecone?
? Make flowers out of pinecones?
Best set up of like items together to keep your carft room organized. Very impressive. Thank you for sharing. Happy Creating. You've created a wonderful space for yourself.
Thank you. It has to be organized or I can’t function. Thank you for watching.
You got good boxes. Good assortment.
What paint would I use if I wanted to do it in black. Is there any preparation for the pedestal sink besides cleaning it. Also after painting black could I put a little gold leaf down the bottom part
I would clean it well and maybe sand it a bit. It might rough up the porcelain a bit. I used chalk paint. It’s very forgiving and works great with about anything. Oh wow, I just thought of this! Look into Rustoleum paints. They make so many variations now. They aren’t just spray paints anymore. After painting you can definitely do gold leaf over it. You will also want to seal everything after you’re finished. It will make it less likely to scratch. You have to show it to me when you’re done! Email photos! Good luck. I’m sure it will turn out awesome. [email protected].
Beautiful!!!!❤
Thank you very much. 😊
Way to personalize your space and tackle that job yourself! Such sweet pictures of you and your hubby, too! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
I have a ton of ribbon though, so id have to buy like 100 of these racks lol 😂
Yikes! It would be your ribbon warehouse. LOL. Thank you for watching. 😊
Love the review :) Thanks for making the video and happy you enjoy it!
Thank you for watching. 😊
Very cool! You definitely have a knack! It really looks beautiful!
Thanks a bunch!
Wow I’m impressed you did that all yourself! It’s a great idea to elevate a room.
Thank you.
HOPE some one will respond. I will shorten a liquid knit pair of slacks. I know how to stitch around the original hem. My issue is this is stretch fabric, I will have AN EXCESS of fabric to cut off. How to keep it from flipping down.
Hello. Thank you for the question. What would you think about using the fabric fuse to hold the fabric in place?
GOOD IDEA THANKS
GOOD IDEA THANKS @@kimberlyanndesigns1
Love that mirror framing idea - going to do it myself!!
Cute creative ideas! The mirror frame 🤯 genius! Tying back the curtain is so elegant and simple. Great tips Kim 👍🏻
Awesome ❤️
I'm not a sewer and frankly I had my doubts about the final look. But the results blew me away! The hem truly does look perfectly original. Thank you so much for sharing. Your easy instructions made me think even I could accomplish this.
That’s awesome. I’m so glad you were able to make your pants look great!
This is a great video. This is the best one I have watched, because you show and explain as you go......Thanks, I now feel like I can do this sewing tip successfully.
Awesome thank you. Watch my other video where you leave the hem on the entire time. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4Cpy9NqiNvdlso.html. You might like this video as well. 😉
Love your craft room Kim. I need to organize mine again. Don’t have a big room, sure do miss my basement up north. Told my hubby we could make the garage my craft room lol. I don’t think he fell for it🤣
Great idea! Lol. Thank you for the kind words.
Thanks for keeping it simple!
You bet! Thank you for watching
What kind of tape do you use?
I find painters tape works the best.
I’m so glad to have run across this gem! I really enjoyed the “learn with me, we’ll make mistakes together “ tutorial ❤ Such a breath of fresh air and your willingness to be vulnerable helped me feel comfortable and confident enough to try this myself, unlike the “done this a thousand times so it’s a breeze for me but good luck to you” tutorials that leave me feeling okay about trying it then stumbling and going into freak out mode because they made it look effortless. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial ❤
I’m so happy you enjoyed the video. I try to show the good, the bad and the ugly sometimes! That was my first attempt at engraving as well. 😀. Thank you for watching.
Excellent video!!!
Excellent video! Thank you❤
@nancydepiano3599 Thank you very much for the kind words.
Great video! Where did you get that neat little drawer divider for your tips inside your machine? Thanks.
Cool little item, isn’t it? I found mine a few years ago. here is something similar to it on Amazon. Tool Organizer for Cricut Maker 3 & Maker, Cricut Blade Storage Accessories and Supplies for Cutting Blades, Cricut Machine Organization and Storage Tools, Knife and Blade Organizer (Blade Mod) a.co/d/4FPEaeq Thank you for watching.
Now , I feel better 😂😂😂. I thought I have to much stuff.
LOL. That’s hilarious. Thanks for watching. 🤣
Thank You so much for this. I've just got a Cricut Maker 3. Can I safely engrave Sterling Silver Dog Tags following your directions? Hugs from Scotland, UK ❤❤
Yes. I would try using the aluminum setting with “more” pressure. I would definitely practice first. Also, don’t be afraid to go over it twice. When the “cut” is finished and it wants you to remove your cutting mat, DON’T remove it. Hit the PLAY “GO” button again and it will go back over it again. Thank you for watching. Let me know how it turns out.
@@kimberlyanndesigns1 Thank You. I will, Hun
