I am a very organized person. When it comes to kids crafting, organization is the key. I want to know that when my grandchildren are here and they want to find their crayons, paper, coloring books, scissors, etc. we know where it’s at.
The first thing I did was go to dollar tree and I took along a box that I was planning on using as their caddy. I found two different containers that would fit inside that could be removable as well. The containers fit their colored pencils, markers, and crayons, which was perfect.
I realized shortly after that, that I really wanted to have the coloring books, paper stickers, etc. all together with the crayons and markers. So I had a different idea. I purchased the Hudson cart from Michaels craft store when it went on sale. It normally does not go on sale, but I was lucky . I also purchased a couple of their organizing pieces. I bought a couple little containers, and some dividers for the cart.
I think this turned out awesome. I can wheel it right over to the kids craft table. We can bring it upstairs too.
At a glance, I can see what we need to replace or refill. I think it’s a great idea. Organization is very key to make sure you have fun.
