I decided I needed to do something in my kitchen to kind of finish it off. I had investigated the peel and stick backsplash tiles that are out now and I just couldn't make up my mind because it was something I couldn't see, touch and feel. I was seeing them on Amazon and they were a good price but I really needed to see something before I would purchase it.
I happened to be at Menards the other day checking out some spray paint and thought I would go over and see what they had for tile. I ran across this tile and I really liked it. I ended up deciding that I wanted to do some thing with an accent in the middle and I also decided that I needed some thing that was going to frame that part out. Pencil tile was out of the question because it was so expensive. I decided to get three full-size mosaic tile pieces and cut those up. They worked out perfect. I did this really in a matter of a day and a half. It could've been done much quicker, much sooner but I had a vacation planned and I had some other things that were going on so I wasn't able to finish it as quickly as I wanted to. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But I am very very happy with it.
