Heyy Bee. With hagwons in SK can I earn R35 000 as a qualified teacher also with experience?
You actually can, but you would have to negotiate as starting salary should be 2.5Mill (R32 700) but some people start lower. Please put your experience down and negotiation for a 2.7Mill (R35 350) I know someone earning this with no experience!

I just started teaching in China South African (females in particular) are all the worst to deal with. They only contact me to get free resources or help I shut them all down fast - plus they all hate one another because theyre emotional wrecks with no boyfriends to guide them and sheng nu (reaching 35-40 with no man interested enough to ever commit) one isnt getting their contracted renewed due to talking bad about a Chinese person I'm not surprised China doesnt want SA's.

We are quiet about it because we are afraid they might do something to her but soon we will go on all platforms to tell the world what happened… she’s still in a coma , my aunt and will be will be fetching her from China before this month end to SA.

I worked in 4 different Hagwons in Korea and each time I held on hoping it would get better (in some cases it did for awhile and then it got worse). Never feel bad for leaving a situation that doesn't align with you because after "bekezelaring" I now suffer from anxiety. Great video. There are people who have had positive experiences and negative experiences in both countries. China can be very overwhelming (I've done both swell). I like that your bosses went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I had only experienced toxicity (in the Hagwons). We live and we learn
I’m really really sorry you suffering from anxiety as a result of working in these Hagwons. The ESL industry can be such a dark place for us , it’s like we’re not suppose to be in these jobs! I’m happy I left and yeah my school was kind enough to make me comfortable. I would be lying if I said I didn’t eat any support from them especially from my coordinator, that guy was amazing! @@queen_be this is my city man been here since 2019. I lived on the other end it’s called Nanchang county my international school is that side. Honggutan was my 1st neighborhood but I didn’t like how expensive and crowded it was so I was lucky to find the cheaper end of Nanchang. You’d have loved it cause it has bigger spaces going for 1.6k-2.5k for 3-4 bedroom apartments.
