Hey Babe, I actually broke up the costs into diff section, but the total was around 44k , document process around 3.8K , flights and all 25k, settling in 14k. I have a detailed post about all the costs on the community tab 😁

When did you start applying for epik fall intake. I had financial issues so I'm only able to start my application in March or April, is that too late?

I applied Feb 2022 Babe. It’s not too late , the only things that really take long are your PPC , SAQA & apostilled document’s. There are ppl who applied around your time and made it for main intake, remember you can also opt for late intake? 😁

Can you post the address for the criminal records department in Pretoria? I have found a few addresses and I am not sure which to use. Thank you so much

Thanks Babe! Please start downloading Papago and doing your translations. I’ll be waiting for it when you arrive 😅 No options aren’t limited Babe. Where did you want to be placed? EPIK plus is just for those who want to be placed in that province if I’m not mistaken, I think they’re trying to get more people down there that’s it. My advice : go for the city you want, if you don’t get it it’s okay but it’s better than not trying and wondering later on if you would’ve gotten it or not. No placement is guaranteed, but try your lucky. I asked for Incheon & got it 😁

I know right!!! Eish, you would have to make a plan my love because EPIK doesn’t give cash in advance 😭😭😭 ask family or friend to try chip in 🥹 There’s a company called BEE TEFL that helps with this too. Some Hagwon’s do but don’t settle for a Hagwon if you can do EPIK…

I thought tickets are paid for by the school or program?

They reimburse you later Babe 😞 I only got my flights money now in Feb. 6 months later. Others get it within a month or 3 months. It depends on where you’re placed.

Aaaah Babe don’t say that 😔 a lot of people were unemployed when they came to Korea, some had just graduated. If you are referring to funds, something can always be done, There’s a company that has been helping people with flights and all.

I'm leaning on that option because I want my documents apostilled faster BUT I'm not sure if it's a scam..do you know anything about their company.. Thanks

Hey Sixolile, as far as I remember, DIRCO can’t be expedited, but there are some agents who have been known to do it 👀 I haven’t come across anyone who has had theirs expedited to be honest. How much is this cost just by the way? I know a lady who does documents, but as far as I know, she doesn’t expedite this process either 😫 When are you due to leave?

Each document is close to R900, so it's PCC and SAQA. I'm leaving on March but I want to be sure before I send out my documents..I wanted to enquire about it to those who have already gone through the process.. and the lady you are talking about,can I trust her ?,otherwise if there's no way to expedite,I'd rather wait.

@@heyitsdimples Mmmm I don’t trust this process to be honest, embassies are also aware of expedited documents so apparently DIRCO documents have reference no.‘s at the back, so if yours comes out without one they might flag it. We’ve had people being banned to enter SK for 5 years now because apostilled documents. I would wait 😞 doesn’t the process take 3 weeks now?

I would rather wait than risk it Babe, people’s documents are being flagged at immigration in Korea. You don’t want to be added to that list, I could share so many posts with you of people who had paid for various services and were now being turned away because of fraudulent documents. I think I waited 5/6 weeks too, long process, but it’s worth it if done correctly. Are you going with a hagwon or EPIK late intake? @@heyitsdimples
