bro, 99 was far more faithful to the manga and tone of togashi vision than 2011, and there were virtually no filler in 99 series only 4 in only first arc so stop with this "weird" thing, dont mix your subjectivity with objectivity, most people that watched 99 first and read manga agrees that these two are far better than 2011, also dont mix up shonen and seinen as genre because they are not genre but demographic, shonen is for boys that are ranging from 13 years old to 17 years old, and seinen is for young adults, and in each demographic you can have same genre's in both shonen and seinen, in shonen you can have series oriented toward mature audience eg., hunter x hunter, jojo, attack on titan etc., and then in both shonen and seinen there are same genre like slice of life, romcom, adventrure, battle genre, psychological and more, + tell me why some of the best slice of life anime are seinen but has no gore in them? because its slice of life thats it L video
