i think johan is like the joker in the way people perceive him, but more like anton chigurh from no country for old men in the way he actually is. i consider him an agent of fate, not an agent of chaos. some people tend to confuse the two because being lead by fate is perceived as illogical or chaotic due to the randomness of it. but yohan and anton both seem to view it as the only way to go about life, the only fair way at least. the joker (at least the joaquin phoenix version) tends to act more so on bursts of rage and impulse more so than any kind of logic.

I agree 100%. Damn, Anton Chigurh was a great villain, excellent performance by Javier Bardem. I doubt anyone that watched No Country for Old Men will forget Anton Chigurh, one of the most memorable characters.

I don’t have a dad but I also don’t have the willpower to do anything. I won’t complain about him not being here but I don’t know how to move on with my life either. It sucks because I’m in eleventh grade but I have no drive and I don’t even know what I want to do once I get out of high school. I’ve pretty much given up on my dreams from when I was younger because I see how hard other people with similar dreams have to work and I’m not sure how they kept doing it without failing, getting distracted or letting other things get in their way. When I compare myself to those people, I feel like a failure and I don’t even know how to find it within myself to start working for those goals. I guess I realized how hard it is for someone with a lack of willpower to succeed but instead of trying harder, I just gave up instead. I wonder when I’ll ever find anything to really motivate me to start building a future for myself. I guess the only thing is that I don’t want to be a burden for my mother so when I turn 18, I want to move out. But beyond that, life looks like will it suck because I have no direction or enough drive to keep looking for one. I think a good example for how I feel is that I don’t have anything that makes me want to wake up and keep doing that. I have nothing in my life that makes me want to see it through and finish it in spite of hard times. I’m not sure where to look to find that thing either. I hope I can find it soon though.
