Hello! This is our home, cooking, and garden vlog channel where we'll be sharing all things home, plant-based cooking, and garden in our everyday lives. We bought this house almost 21 years ago and have been building our garden ever since. Both Amber and I are suburban gardeners and plant-based cooks. Amber gardens in the City of Philadelphia growing flowers, veggies and herbs. Thanks for joining us on our journey!

I like the front , it looks beautiful the way it is Ground covers, sound like something thhat will for my yard
Nice and calm show. I wish you would have stated sun, shade, moist, or dry. But, all in all, I enjoyed your conversation.
They are beautiful. Thanks for detail of the various paths.
Where in the world can I find a wife like her???
🤣🤣🤣
I have to point out that most of the stones you are laying seems to be rocking, and no, they will not fix themselves. Merely dragging a straight edge of lumber around on the ground prior to lay the stone back would single-handedly eliminate most rocking.
Although you are very sure of yourself, you couldn’t be more wrong. They did settle in, none of them rock and the project has been finished for years with not one hiccup. Have a great day.
Lovely than you for the helpful info and for sharing your wonderful years of experience.
Flagstones add so much character to a landscape. Great job
Amazing hostas. Mine have been completely eaten by slugs
Where is creeping thyme?
Hello how big is the 2 tiered fountain?
Hello! I have just found your channel today and so very very sorry to learn about the passing of your husband, the then the devastation of your garden😔. You are dealing with so much. I’m curious to know approximately where you live in the US. I am from Calgary, Alberta in Western Canada 🇨🇦
That Truck is……. …(wait for it)….. FOliage Tough!!✊🏾✊🏾😜
Just bought home with a fountain such as your large one. Really like your video as I will follow your example, much appreciated!
What kind of drive way do you have? Is it wood chips?
Loved this video , one of the very BEST ! VERY HELPFUL ! TFS
How do you keep grass from going all over, garden and other places you don't want it.
I line my beds with stone and use a weed whacker to edge.
Watching from ireland. Just cane across your video.. could watch it all day 😉
🙏👏
Would cardboard work well under pea stones?
No too bulky, you would need too much stone to cover it🙏
I’m so sorry for your husband passing.
Thank you so much 😊🙏
nice job. looks nice.
🙏
Is there any way to contact you directly
No just on this site 🙏
The "over hear" fountain needs a balancing...
???
Seems fine to me but I just live here 😂
This is gorgeous! Do you pull out the caladiums or just plant new each year?
It depends on the year and how much time I have, so I do both!
great video, thank you!
just beautiful, i mean the garden, not the blonde .....
🙏🤣
Excellent video explaining ~ thank u
Glad it was helpful!🙏
Great video! I've noticed the same thing with Sedum and water - if you have good drainage it will use water and grow lushly. Soggy soil in winter can be harmful but honestly, some of the varieties like 'Angelina' seem to handle that also.
Yes exactly 👍🙏
Greetings from Ireland, Beautiful natural looking garden, Its the bees knees.
Such a beautiful yard you have made. We have noticed some of your plants are the same that we grow here in Oregon what state are you are filming from?
Southern New Jersey🙏
Another Jersey Girl here just subscribed to your channel! Love the husband and wife teamwork! May I please ask where you sourced your boulders and rocks from? Great inspo😊
Thanks for subbing! Unfortunately my husband passed away recently 🥲🙏
@@planttasticcookinggardenin1561 Oh I’m so sorry this is devastating news. Lost my husband 22 months ago it has been crushing that is why I was so happy to watch the two of you. It made me happy to see another dynamic duo 🙏🏾

Omg, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. On top of that having to deal with this flooding. My prayers with you
Thank you so much 🙏
Great video! So very helpful. I’m trying to reduce the amount of mulch I use every year.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks 🙏
I love your rabbit’s name! I have a rabbit too his name is Lewie. I love growing vegetables and herbs for him. Your potage is absolutely beautiful. I hope someday my gardens will look like this. I just moved in to a new home last summer so it’s a work in progress. I’m so glad I found your channel. 💕
Aww thanks, be patient with yourself, it will come🙏
Great video 💕
You have perfect legs ❤
Thank you 🙏!
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. Can you recommend a water surface plant that doesn't propagate quickly?
Sorry, they all seem to be aggressive once happy in my pond. Maybe someone else could chime in…
Really helpful instruction and wonderful tips. Beautifully done and told. Thank you for sharing your experience with these different paths over time, and the insights you learned along the way (will definitely be using landscape fabric, thanks to this video). Cheers!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks 🙏
Beautiful. What state are you in? I'm in Arizona in the White Mountains. Snows up here.
New Jersey. Thank you 🙏!
I like the look of your stones with grass or even the weeds between them. That green softens the stone in my opinion
Very helpful! Love your ground covers. Thank you!😃
Your video was great, it was so informative. I This is the best video I’ve watched yet. learned so much about ground cover. Your garden is so lovely. thank you for sharing it and your knowledge of ground covers. 💕
Excellent tutorial. I love the way you didn't waste a lot of time talking about nonsense. Great job!

I love the way how you explain. You are a great teacher!! The fact that you explain first what you are going to do is marvelous!!! Thank you you are great!!❤❤❤
The video is helpful in my quest to find a good battery mower that I will be able to operate. My complaint is there is no model number or link to purchase.
Sorry I don’t sell them 🙏
