Oh my gosh! I was so excited when I saw this video come up. I have already watched it twice! I swear you have the Mary Poppins bag garden - you just keep finding new ways to pull more and more out of it and add the most perfect things! This whole courtyard idea is genius. And as a greenhouse dreamer, I confess to envy. I have a .6 acre lot and just a nice little one would make me so happy. I am completely thrilled for you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for this comment, it just made my day! You have a bit more land than I do so never stop dreaming...it took me 21 years to get to this point. I'm usually a very present and mindful person but your words have made me even more mindful of the blessings of this garden and to never take it for granted. You have the most beautiful garden. I like how you accommodate your little animal friends, so they are safe, comfortable and entertained. I might suggest collapsing storage when possible so you have more room for your growing plants. Also if you continue with the container garden theme, you can keep it modular and move things around according to size or season. You also are blessed 😊 in your family and the modulation of the garden will help accommodate other events I use collapsing trash cans, mine has sunflowers painted on it. I have collapsing rain barrel. I don’t have but would like the stone and wood modular raised bed. I know what you mean about vining things. I once had a grapevine grow across the condos. Whoopsie. I find a tree net keeps my vines under control. Oh. That greenhouse is so cute 🥰. Maybe get a folding cot so you can daydream in the warmth of it 💕 Can’t wait to see more.

Thanks, Deborah!! Yes, they are getting so big and hopefully, we will make it a great place for them to spend their days. I would love a drone but fear that I wouldn't have the patience to learn how to use the darn thing lol, especially with all of our trees (it would probably be a hot mess).

Aww thanks for your kind words about our little suburban homestead! Yes, the chickens are so funny. You should see all six of their little, expectant faces lined up in the morning when they are excited about their herb and oatmeal breakfast...priceless! I'm glad you didn't mind me throwing that in at the end as I know the video ran really long.

Thanks for posting love everything you do is all nice. That is the perfect size I'm looking for smaller one I appreciate you showing us the possibilities of what can be done. Can you please do a full tour of your entire outside property might take a few videos but with the new changes really would like to see to get some more ideas. Thanks again

Yes, I agree on the size...now that I have it, I think it's the perfect greenhouse size for a suburban or urban garden or even on a bigger property where you would like a seed starter house close to your home. This size can be tucked in anywhere. Yes I will definitely try to do more tour videos and thank you for the suggestion. I get hung up on video length and you are right, I just need to break them into parts.

Hi Deb, thank you! Yes, snow load will be an issue for the plexiglass if it piles up so that is a big reason I will be adding polycarbonate over top of the Plexi. It will double insulate and give the window areas strength. I can get that cut to size and then just screw it on. The wood will hold up fine to the snow. It is as thick as the wood on the chicken coop and willows barn (which holds 2 feet of snow easily). Until then I'll just broom off any accumulation which shouldn't be much due to the fact that it gets so hot inside. I was very surprised when building this that the wind (20 mph) had no effect on it even when there were just a few panels together. I definitely wouldn't buy something like this unless willing to incur the cost of the polycarbonate though.

@@debweissler7808 Yes, we get our share of named storms here too that's why I purchased a wood structure. They are easier to reinforce if needed. I've seen too many pics of the regular style collapsing and I'm very familiar with this type of wood structure due to my animals. Insurance is definitely needed too for that reason. Any greenhouse, anywhere these days is vulnerable, unfortunately.
