  Unfortunately the powerlines are terrible for young pigeons. They learn to navigate them fairly quickly though.

  When I kept pigeons in my youth, I had a black fantail pigeon yet had to get rid of it as I caught it killing the babies of other pigeons in my loft. I never raced my pigeons yet they were trained to eat from my hand and when I let them out I could sit quietly in the back yard and they would come to me to eat from my hand…..such wonderful pet birds.

  It was a standalone race last year - 22 white birds liberated alone, 21 home on the day. Not sure why it was part of the mass liberation this year.

  I come to your Channel ‘Heartbroken))) as I woke up to my 6 week old male pigeon laying dead on my 4th floor balcony,… mom & dad are still here with their 2 week old new eggs in the corner 😮‍💨 I’m just not sure if the sister flew to safety🤞🏼as my son heard the commotion, and thinks it was a Hawk attack, but didn’t see it happen !? Should I be concerned that they will come back again, and is there anything I can do to negates such evil …

  Absolutely nothing wrong with the stock birds, it's the training. I didn't train them well enough to pull out in strong tail winds.

  Humans are horrible. We literally flew on these birds back to victory turning the war, and now they live a desolate life in New York City where they don’t even know how to build their own nests. Every living thing has God in it, I feel horrible sympathy for these creatures.
