I absolutely adore pigeons! My most favourite bird of all. I have only ever dealt with wild ones, injured, orphaned, sick etc, nursing and rehabbing them. I would love a big chunky King pigeon as a pet though one day ❤

Hi Adam, looking forward to your posts this year, been enjoying them the last year or so. I’m in Newcastle keeping mainly flying tipplers, showed the Exhibition Tipplers for many years now just flyers. Have a few racers for pleasure incl a couple of pair of recessive reds. I follow the race results keenly so will be watching your progress with CCF from May onward, Regards, Alan.

Can old bird fertilize an eggs according to your experience? I have 14 yo male, the young hen lay an egg yesterday. Last month the 4 previous eggs were infertile 😢

I have a 2009 bird not missing an egg, but I've also had them stop filling at 5 or 6 years.

Some vets offer hormone treatment, personally I think once they're done they're done.
