Why do you have crested pigeons with the carrier pigeons? Is there something peculiar about it?
Do hens get off their nest when laying/hatching? Do the parents switch turns? I got a favy bird in town, but she's gone now. Don't know if she's dead, or hatching. I assume she has to eat, no?

Hi, I have a question, I have a female Meulemans pigeon and a male blue barred pigeon that in its family tree I have no record of the birth of red pigeons. If I breed my Meulemans pigeon with this blue barred male, can red Meulemans pigeons be born in the F1 generation?

If anyone knows, tell me, I'm new to raising pigeons and my favorite pigeons are the red ones and I would like to have more birds of that color. Hugs from Brazil

"Meulemans" is not a colour. You mean recessive red. You will only get rec reds in the F1 if the blue pigeon carries the gene. I have a video on how to breed recessive reds on the channel.
