Never interested to hear sh1t music that we already hear on radio, overplayed but louder. Pointless. Need to clean my ears at home after with good music, real music that makes me move and bounce

Clubs were always wicked, it’s just that people are becoming aware now. They have been wicked since the beginning of civilization.

In Europe (NL) clubs are booming, they saw what festivals were doing and replicated it at a smaller and more accessible scale

VIP sections were a thing. Nobody is VIP if everybody VIP. People used to buy bottles in just VIP and the rest of us were just dancing, vibing, buying regular drinks. It’s not an experience anymore, just a club cash grab. Even the DJs suck nowadays. Everybody wanna be a DJ but nobody is an actual DJ.

It was dead as soon as I decided to sober up! Actually, I mostly quit drinking, on top of all 3 of my favorite places shutting down. And those places were the most awesome clubs I'd ever been to. I don't know of any more like them. At least not where we live, or travel to. And sadly, they're gone for good! It's probably better for my bank account though!

Racist door policies is a factor. Especially in the UK. A lot of events that attracted a predominantly black audience (dancehall/bashment, soca, hip-hop, garage, drill, etc) either get shut down or aren't allowed to run. Clubs supposed to unite people imo. Bring people together. Section culture kills that.

Nowadays, Stuck up rude Thots, Sexually Frustrated violent men, Too much ppl Flexing, Bouncer/ doormen/ waitress Hates Men, trash music, and expensive. The peak era for Nightlife for Me was 1995-2005! I stopped clubbing in 2012. Now I go to Dave& Buster's, Movies, Bowl, Power walk in city, Laser-tag, and gaming. #Metoo killed clubs! The only Time real Parties exist now are in Cruises or Foreign countries.

Me too movement made even very well behaved men nervous to approach women. Hypergamy made "normal" guys feel apathetic about going. Social Media enables bully girls to publicly shame any guy they feel is even 3% "ick" or "ew", making a lot of guys nervous to even speak to girls. Modern young girls are, more and more, acting like weird imitations of any angry, arrogant male, which is beyond NOT sexy to 99% of guys. Gen Z is considered possibly the most overweight and bad hygiene generation yet. And the more time goes on, the less truly good music is coming out, while inflation means what used to be "$3 beer night" is now "$7 beer night". I mean... do you really need me to go on? Why WOULD anyone but a Chad or Pookie want to club? You have to have the chiseled jaw and abs, and be 6' or taller if you even want to walk in and hope for anything but "ew, don't look at me loser".

That's a shame, I'm in my 50's I went clubbing in the 80's and 90's, We had a ball for $10 to $20 bucks. Women usually got in free, so you know there were hella women there. we would dance the night away, drink like we had a habit, Talk to women, get lucky and pull a chick or at least have fun trying. We had cell phones but people didn't live on them. We didn't have social media. It was about having fun and being young. I remember starting to party in one city and ending up in another at the end of the night

I think among the new generation (mine), the club scene is dying but its in exchange for self thrown parties that’s promoted like an Airbnb or loft party. I feel like the cost of everything is driving people to essentially make their own clubs out of these parties and everyone can bring their own drinks, weed, etc. to enjoy themselves. Most parties don’t even cost nothing since you’re bringing your own stuff and if they do cost, it’ll be like 15 dollars max. As for cellphones, I’m ngl, It’s a huge problem. I find myself not using it much nowadays at parties because it’s better to live in the moment than trying to capture everything. I see the issue but recently, I’ve noticed most people don’t use phones much here no more. If anything, the girls are always twerking and dancing on each other but the guys are too scared to go dance with them because of how nowadays, guys can get called out for anything and they’re instantly condemned so most guys, especially young black men, are afraid of the girls freaking out and then saying they got sexually harassed or something like that. That’s really the plight of the club scene as of now from what I see

social media is the only thing keeping clubs around , kids party more by the time their 17 and then are over it. saddest part is boomers blaming it on "socialization is going down"aka their own misconceptions and glorifying something that wasnt that great to begin with.

I hate sections at the club but my friends want one every time we go out. They laugh at me because after a few drinks I leave the section and start walking around to find girls to dance with but I didn't come out to sit on the couch and bob my head to young dolph. I could do that for free at the crib The music is part of the problem too, there's not as much dance music. In Texas, they're playing trap music in the club. You can't really dance to that. That's why I like the Latino clubs, reggaeton was made for parties

Yeah... the clubs died with the invention of social media. 20 bucks a night. I bought my 10 bottle of apple vodka and 10 for my taxi!😂😂😂😂. College was a blast!!!! We danced alllllllll night long. Sweating. Makeup a mess and thighs burning!!!!! Damn. I miss it. The sections shit is out of control. There used to be free places to sit. Nope. Not any more. We also didn't take pictures. There is not one single video if me doing anything. 😂😂😂. I was wild!!!!!

I think the music has taken a decline in quality since the early 2010’s but i can argue that more focus went into the beats and instrumentals and making people vibe and its less about the lyrics, so the real problem is definitely the cellphones and people not wanting to interact.. girls stay grouped together dancing with one another and dont give you the time of day unless you have a section, the guys are hugging walls looking too cool to be there cause they’re covering up that they’re scared of getting embarrassed with rejection . People dont know how to socialize anymore thats the biggest problem outside of the prices

I'm 42 years old never found a interest in the clubbing/Bar Hopping life. Being a child of the 1980's our generation just like every generation before that All us kids by enlarge if you didn't belong to the Bible belt it's pretty much a guarantee you was drinking Alcohol before turning 6 years old. And with the coming of MGTOW less and less are going out and with the Economic Shit just like us Millennials Delt with in 2008 now Gen Z I dealing with except... Gen Z doesn't have enough brains to comprehend Minimum Wage increases = higher Inflation which means everyone who purchases anything is screwed. No $$ for the Bar/Club = more $$$ for Gaming/Hobbies/Cannabis/THC-A - CBD/Vacations/Trips. Seems to be a better plan vs litterly Pissing away your money as all that alcohol eventually turns into urine/Waste. Not to mention cuts down on the costs of getting into a wreck or not or not knowing if you going to end up in the slammer or Raped/Assaulted/Mugged/Murdered.

Attending dance clubs today is as about as superfluous as attending school! You spend all this money for entry and women give no attention or respect and leave with nothing but an empty wallet at the end of the night.
