THE CREW
Founder Rich Drew - instagram.com/therichdrew/?hl=en
Rich started racing BMX at age five, motocross at 9 and pro XC/Enduro in his late thirties. He's decent on the bike, but good at teaching.
Lead Instructor Rob Drew - instagram.com/therobdrew/?hl=en
Rob started racing BMX at a very young age, transitioned into motocross where he achieved some great success. Injuries ended his career and the bike became a surrogate. Rob is old and wise...like yoda.
Mason DeKeyrel - instagram.com/mason_dekeyrel/?hl=en
Mason is young and he rips on anything with two wheels.

What do you think of this compared to the izzo?
I’m hoping to ride it next time I go just need a tow in
this is not easy as you guys make it looks😂
Nice wheelie dawg
This is fairly easy .
Yes, but it still scares the crap out of me. Working up to it though.
If I can do it, you can do it.
Oh it’s definitely intimidating, I think that was the main goal when building it. However, the math on it is fairly straightforward and it isn’t that bad when you have an idea of the appropriate speed. You’ll get there 👊🏻
@@richdrewtherideseries Damnit....now I have to go back to math class for Drop the Hammer? 🤣
Starts at 7:50 , your welcome for saving you from the pointless yapping 🙂
Nice dude. Planning on hitting next time I go there
lol perfect music for the bike
Friends with his son! And great job rich❤😊
Liar I had to pay for a $20 purchase just to get your free sample back which is bullshit but I did it lol
When is the cone park video in Sioux City, Iowa coming out?
What he is doing is for safety if you want to boost it you got yank the bar at the very top of the lip as your standing up. Basically you time your pop to the very second aka stand up and your pull the bar to your lap
THANK YOU for not having all the commercials other have. I left them. :)
I had the Candy pedals and they worked alright but I always bent the beater part on them. Back to spds.
We need this in Utah
Where in Utah are you?
@@richdrewtherideseries Saratoga Springs in Utah County
In other words “Stand up to the jump” -L. Ranger
So smooth💯
Loads of young riders on my area are bouncing their bike just before dropping. They know, with mobile phones everywhere, that people see watching and recording. There have been way too many accidents, many involving broken clavicles, or wrists/forearms. Admittedly, part of it seems to be related to weighting forwards, and lacking upper body strength. They're landing like their arms are wet noodles. Some riders are even getting face injuries from striking their stem/bars. Maybe also here because here the riders are shorter, and the bikes have really slack headtubes.
Used to ride up there, when I lived in Tulsa 25+ years ago. Nothing like it is now. Just a bunch of guys making our own way and riding up the power lines to get back to the top.
Should ask Sioux City Kia for some sponsorship money.
I'd like to know more about them drinks ive asked a few questions on video's never get a reply have you got a video on them or anything?
He's curling the bike into his body, bringing his legs up too high. I'm new or, more accurately, re-learning. The legs are being brought up too far! He made a big improvement on the last jumps, not bringing his knees up. It looks a lot cleaner through the jump. Nice! I'm just getting back on my bikes after a good 15 years off them! It's like a learning curve again with these new bikes, like my ATX and Kona's Ha! Great video.
👏 👏
Whats wrong with his forks?
Literal Trailblazers.
Great channel! I think we're doing your Sept clinic. Turkey used to be my home base. If the Bentonville area, Turkey Mt, parks with jumps, drops, and chunk and some Colorado and Arkansas xc trails thrown in would you suggest the YT Jeffsy or Izzo. Underbike overbite question lol.
Rich, I have a similar problem, grade 4 maybe 5 injury! The difference is my injury is at least 2 years old and maybe more than 2 possibly 5! I thought my shoulder was shot and they recently replaced my shoulder and discovered this injury! My question is was your surgery out patient or was there a hospital stay and where did you get that sling? Thanks! My surgery is June 24, 2024 just 12 days away!
Turkey!!!
Thanks guys. I have 2 questions: 1. what do you do if you can't get enough speed, and 2. how do you adjust your arms and body if the ramp leading to the drop is downhill, because I feel I am pushing on handlebars too much. Thanks
Thanks for this informational Video ! I love it ! But man, you interrupt him a million times!!!!!!!!
Do they make soft shoe soles for clips ?
It's hard to teach an old dog a new trick but Rich finally did it. Good job guys!
Hey Rich, found this vid after watching your Nebo Peak one. Do you think the Nebo Peak would be able to last long enough, or just take a break to charge? Thanks!
Sorry to miss seeing you. Thanks for coming over and spotlighting turkey mtn.
Good stuff, Rich!
Dex is definitely shredding it! Awesome!
Every video is a banger!
And they say that izzo can't junp
I was just down there a few weeks ago, this area you guys are jumping in for the table tops is a pretty cool little practice area now
What kind of Microphone do you use?
Do u pull up when jumping??
I don’t, I push with my feet 👊🏻

When I come to Bentonville can I hire you for a session?
Of course! Just visit the website therideseriesmtb.com/private-instruction/
I really wanted to jump these pulled away from the landing. Still enjoyed every moment though, lots of good reps
what setting on my fork do I need to adjust if when I pump in to the ramp it just absorbs the energy the nose doesnt rebound? I ate it this weekend because I expected it to pop and instead nose dived.
Who can afford to learn?
Were the jump lines not open Rich? Perhaps they were still working on them when you shot this vid. I want to go up to Turkey just to check those out...hone in my TRS knowledge I gained at Bikefest 24'
At any point of the riding in this video did you lock the rear shock out if you had that option I'm guessing you did with the uncaged version. I have an iso core one coming it doesn't have the option to lock out the rear shock and I was wondering if I'm gonna be bobbing up and down while riding on flat ground, and secondly he makes that bike float like a butterfly
Why is there only 1 e-bike in the video?? who gets it?? ha. How do you like it, I've been eyeing that one myself, would love to hear your experience on it.
I recommend the Trek EX-e personally. It's fairly light with the TQ motor and it gets this 240-250# guy up all the returns at Turkey/Bentonville And.. it jumps and handles like a dream!
Rode this series of trails today - nicely curated set of fun! The mid-ride rain definitely added to the slickness of some of the features but overall it was awesome! Sort of like a virtual guide! Thanks for putting this together!
