Tech Climbing on E Bikes w/Rob Drew

Riding E Bikes is really fun! Climbing hiking trails on e bikes is...fun, I guess. I was excited to get the ‪@aribikes‬ Timp Peak on this trail to see if could hold a candle to the mad tech climbing skills of ‪@robdrew596‬ . I quickly realized I wasn't in Bentonville anymore!
Do you wanna get better, e bike or not? Well, come to a Ride Series Clinic or do some private coaching. We guarantee you'll grow more confident and have more fun on the bike. Visit the website to check the schedule.

Here's a few things I learned on this adventure:
1) If you're not pretty good climbing on a "regular" bike, you probably won't be that good on an e bike. A baseline of solid technique is needed to maximize the benefits of the e bike in scenarios like this.
2) We avoided Boost for most of this mission. I leveraged the Eco setting the majority of time and strategically bumped it up into Trail when the pitch got super steep or I was fatigued. However, switching to Trail brings in it's own set of challenges in regards to power delivery.
3) Ratcheting on an e bike is difficult! It takes some time to figure out the nuance of making this work.
I'm pretty stoked on the new ‪@developedsuspension‬ Onyx 38! I'll get a review out on it as soon as I get some more time on it.
Wanna experience how rad the ‪@OzTrailsNWA‬ is on an e bike? Well, drop a comment below and we will get you first crack at our upcoming, all inclusive e bike experience in Bentonville this September

Don't you just love that point when you manage one more crank surprising yourself you are still vertical and moving forward to stay on bike to conquer more? I loved this!
