I have biases in regards to what I feel is valuable content, but that doesn't seem to resonate with most people based on views. Check it out and let us know what you think. Have you tried Transmission? What are your thoughts on it? The short answer is yes, it's amazing, but that doesn't mean it's for everyone.
It's the latest technology and it's hard to argue against it's superiority, but I still have a bike with cable GX that I love and I think it works perfectly fine. Having Transmission might just be a matter of two factors: 1) do you have the disposable income to drop on it 2) are you buying a new bike and is it equipped with it.
Everyone has their opinion on drivetrains. Both Rob and I are die hard SRAM guys for multiple reasons. I just like the shifting feel better and I also feel like shifting a Shimano bike is a seismic event. I'll certainly ride a Shimano equipped bike and have a kick ass time, I don't really care that much. But if it's my bike and I'm choosing, I'm going SRAM.
