Great tutorial. What’s your opinion on how Transmission performs compared to older AXS? Is it actually that much better? I am torn on T type or older AXS.

Depends on who’s using it. For recreational use and weekend warriors it’s a very nice luxury. For people that participate in race events, the shifting under load and impact durability of the rear mech could make or break your race day.

Curious on the bottom bracket. When you order the whole transmission package, it doesn't come with a bottom bracket, correct? Should it be good to go with whatever bottom bracket you've already got on your bike?

You would have the correct BB if you are changing from one SRAM Dub Standard crank to the T-Type crank. There will be a spacer kit in the box with the Transmission Kit. The kit does not come with a Dub BB.

@@swibiruDrew Yeah, I currently have the SRAM Dub bottom bracket on my bike. (standard, not wide, I believe. Specs in the manual just say SRAM DUB).

You put it in the 6th gear though 😂
