    What size Allen key for stem bolts to adjust the angle on handlebars thanks

    Generally, most bmx products use an allen head bolt that takes a 6mm allen key.

    Just spray some hairspray into the grip. It'll slide on and stick like shit to a blanket when it dries.

    Great video!! Bought all the suggested stuff from Dans comp. Is spoke prep necessary? Watched a lot of these videos and don’t see anyone using it.

  • @BMXNEWSCHANNEL

    We feel like spoke prep is optional when talking about the use of thread lock.

    I have a question why didnt you measure the spokes i was led to believe slightly longer spokes are fitted in the drive side of the wheel ,video was great by the way

    In this video we are using a hub that incorporates 2 flanges that are the same size. Some companies make hubs that have 2 different flange sizes and a specific center offset.. If you are unsure it is best to contact the hub's manufacturer to ask what their spoke requirements are..

    When building a wheel with spokes,does it have to be in the same or opposite direction on both sides,which one is it,but spokes stick out.

    This type of crank technology is not new, Profile has been producing the splined spindle since 1980 I do believe. Still the best design ever from a retired drag racer.

    And would this style work for a fly lunar x lace?

  • @BMXNEWSCHANNEL
    @BMXNEWSCHANNEL11 ай бұрын

    Kind of... As far as the pattern goes the lacing would be the same but the only difference is that "x lacing" or "Cross Lacing" requires the spokes on the flange to anchor to the opposite side of the rim... For Example (left flange spokes anchor to the right side of rim and right flange spokes anchor to the left side) (relative to how you are holding and looking at the wheel)

    You lost me at step 3. Also it would be cool if you mentioned what side of the rim does the spoke go in? is it the same same as the flange or opposite?

  • @BMXNEWSCHANNEL
    @BMXNEWSCHANNEL11 ай бұрын

    The answer to your question is what determines the difference between traditional and "x/cross" lacing patterns.

    Stupid question: do you need to know which side of the rim is the drive side before lacing? Or is that determined by the hub placement?

  • @BMXNEWSCHANNEL
    @BMXNEWSCHANNEL11 ай бұрын

    some rear wheels have 2 different flange sizes so the determining factor would be the length of spokes being different for both sides... (If the wheel requires such spoke selection)

    I grew up in that town, those cops are the lowest of the low. Speed trap town so they can make money. They also have a long history of harassment, beating people, raping women etc. A very high turnover. It’s pretty humorous considering that they’re all drunk when they’re off duty, complete wastes of life.

    what if for a small rim 12 inch with 16 spokes 8x8 . what would be the distance ? like you started with 4 holes gap so what if on a 16spokes 8x8? and also can it be customize the rim to make it more spokes?

    Simple technique, but some details need to be mentioned. Like, spoke lengths, any differences? Drive side vs. Non-drive side? Cross technique used? 2 vs. 3 cross? Great close up points of view .
