thanks...Why are you wearing gloves??? Latex fetish...? lol!😎
What size Allen key for stem bolts to adjust the angle on handlebars thanks
Generally, most bmx products use an allen head bolt that takes a 6mm allen key.
Just spray some hairspray into the grip. It'll slide on and stick like shit to a blanket when it dries.
thanks man, literally just wanted to know if the chain was directional haaha cheers
This way is so slow. Phu at EPIC bmx has a better way... just sayin...
Less stripping with more splines.
Those odyssey forks are also heat treated
Great video!! Bought all the suggested stuff from Dans comp. Is spoke prep necessary? Watched a lot of these videos and don’t see anyone using it.
We feel like spoke prep is optional when talking about the use of thread lock.
I like the 1-6 3 cross technique
I have a question why didnt you measure the spokes i was led to believe slightly longer spokes are fitted in the drive side of the wheel ,video was great by the way
In this video we are using a hub that incorporates 2 flanges that are the same size. Some companies make hubs that have 2 different flange sizes and a specific center offset.. If you are unsure it is best to contact the hub's manufacturer to ask what their spoke requirements are..
Legend
Finally a straight forward, talkin facts only. Thx dude
Can a half link chain work on narrow wide chainring?
❤Thank you for the information
I'm cromoly
When building a wheel with spokes, does it have to be in the same or opposite direction on both sides, which one is it,but spokes stick out.
I miss this channel
Really forget to mention things like am i supposed to tighten the nubs so far why did ur rim stay in shape and mine back out
This type of crank technology is not new, Profile has been producing the splined spindle since 1980 I do believe. Still the best design ever from a retired drag racer.
Good 👍👍👍 I have got you right
Absolutely terrible tutorial, literally the important parts are the parts you don't show properly
Cant thank you enough for making this video. Still helping folks six years later😂
We plan to help for even 6 more!!
Umm, bullshit. Will slip as you put nothing on them to make them stick. In the heat, or when they get older, gonna slip like mad.
Sick helpful asf
Thank you dude ive been struggling badly with this but u and my bro explained it so damn well
Glad to help. Subscribe fore more coming soon!
And would this style work for a fly lunar x lace?
Kind of... As far as the pattern goes the lacing would be the same but the only difference is that "x lacing" or "Cross Lacing" requires the spokes on the flange to anchor to the opposite side of the rim... For Example (left flange spokes anchor to the right side of rim and right flange spokes anchor to the left side) (relative to how you are holding and looking at the wheel)
Hey, did you ever do the cross lace?
I am currently finishing the tutorial on “how to cross lace a 36 spoke wheel”. It should be uploaded by June of this year 2023
Awesome thank you.
♡(ӦvӦ。)
Mine did nothing at all
Thank you.! 👍🇵🇭
Too tall.... and what...... no grease? way too much talking for a little 5-minute project
This can't be the best video because the music is... intolerable.
stranger crux is the best
Been at this for hours! one side is great but some how otherside isn't. idk I give up.
You lost me at step 3. Also it would be cool if you mentioned what side of the rim does the spoke go in? is it the same same as the flange or opposite?
The answer to your question is what determines the difference between traditional and "x/cross" lacing patterns.
Did you ever get these trails finished?
Do you have a video for lacing a 28 hole rim ?
Rip
What is your frame?
2017 Verde Regent
What a beautiful and durable frame bmx . What brand?
Saviour i got to run to a bike shop since someone stole my bike and i got my frame back but they left my premium cranks on but only one arm and the adapter is stuck thank you for making this video
Stupid question: do you need to know which side of the rim is the drive side before lacing? Or is that determined by the hub placement?
some rear wheels have 2 different flange sizes so the determining factor would be the length of spokes being different for both sides... (If the wheel requires such spoke selection)
Lacing my wheel for my bmx dreeam build
the best video out in very specific
" Hi tensil steel frame"...you mean " Hi Ten " steel ??
i,m planing to buy my first chromoly thanks for the video amazing
I grew up in that town, those cops are the lowest of the low. Speed trap town so they can make money. They also have a long history of harassment, beating people, raping women etc. A very high turnover. It’s pretty humorous considering that they’re all drunk when they’re off duty, complete wastes of life.
what if for a small rim 12 inch with 16 spokes 8x8 . what would be the distance ? like you started with 4 holes gap so what if on a 16spokes 8x8? and also can it be customize the rim to make it more spokes?
My rim has 88 spokes is that normal?
Simple technique, but some details need to be mentioned. Like, spoke lengths, any differences? Drive side vs. Non-drive side? Cross technique used? 2 vs. 3 cross? Great close up points of view .
