    Well done! You are an inspiration. I will check my old scales too and see if it can be fixed. I hate to throw things out without a stab at fixing it. Cheap Chinese junk manufacturing!

    While supplying the battery from outside to the bathroom scale, I connected the battery plus and minus terminals in reverse. Now it doesn't work at all. How can I fix it?

    Hey, what would I need in order to be able to control force, so let's say it's some kind of actuator that can pull max force of 100lbs but if I set it half way then I can still pull the full range of actuator range but it would be 50 lbs, quarter setting 25lbs, ect.??? So like a shock absorber but with on the fly resistance control?

    Hi, I I have a pneumatic can crusher. I'm just wondering, are you supposed to oil the cylinder as you would with a pneumatic tool? Or would that ruin the internal seals? I know this is an older video but thanks in advance for any help.

    After watching the video, I have my scale fixed, without soldering whatsover, or opening up. Just changed the battery, being inspired by the mentality of 3 Rs, recycle, reuse, reduce.

    I'm really not trying to be an asshole here, however why on earth would people pay for a little piece of metal, that can get lost, when there is literally a very simple knot that does this same thing?

    Hi, I wonder if you could help me, I'm trying to develop a weighing scales that has a built-in max and minimum alarm. The reason for this is I'm in the process of setting up a weight loss business and I don't want my patients to be able to see their weight. Ideally what I want is for them to stand on the weighing scales and if they go over a preset maximum weight, an alarm will go off and similarly if they go below a preset weight an alarm will go off....would appreciate any guidence on the matter.

    Thanks. Subscribed. I’m interested in automation, I’m making a new product which uses some tech from CNC’s, extrusions etc . At the moment I’m working on a optional motorised element which uses open builds belt and pinion a dc motor and microswitch’s. simple enough but I’m completely new to this stuff!

    We have had a Silver crest bathroom Scale for about three years and although it is still working well the thing that frustrates me is that it is nigh impossible to clean under the glass where dust and stains between the glass surface and the name of the name Silvercrest. The space between the two surfaces is very narrow and difficult to put anything between the surfaces. Any answers Graham?

    I have a kind of expensive Beurer scale which was submerged in water, and then stopped working. It works for a while, then the batteries dies quickly. It seems that Im supposed to just through it away, though it's annoying how such an expensive thing can be so sensitive to water, I mean it's supposed to be on a bathroom floor . And it does work, it's just that the batteries dies in a few hours, so my feeling is that it could be fixed.. But I can't even open it, there are no screws or anything. So I'm supposed to through it away... I don't like that, but what can I do. I asked at an electronics store, but they couldn't help.

    I have a small project i'm working on in which I would like to quickly tip a coffin (with an actor inside) onto its side so the actor falls out. The coffin will be on a table and dressed accordingly so I can put Actuators or Pistons underneath. My idea is to have 2 Pistons/Actuators under the table and hinge the opposite edge of the coffin to the table so it doesn't move. I'd need a fast action piston/actuator to make the gag look realistic, so what would you suggest? Thanks in advance and great video

  • @raptraerialimagery4741
    @raptraerialimagery47416 жыл бұрын

    I guess the piston or actuator only needs to lift the coffin past a 45 deg angle before the weight of the body does the rest as it rolls out of the coffin.

    If you want to find one actuator which can open the window automatically, I know one linear actuator site can be OK. It is: www.powerjackmotion.com
