Amazing video man!
Is there also a flight report to Reus? I also was there :D Very nice
Do Wizz air planes do that? Cause I see them landing mostly
Some do some have had modifications to stop it
Did your brother get strict instructions on how and what to film from you? or is he also an aviation enthusiast that knows what and how to film?😂😂
He had some instructions but overall did a very good job 😂
@@AviationUpclose Yeah he did very well. Tell him he had great filming from me!
How long do you have to be in the airport before the flight ?
Anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending on if youve got checked bags or if you need special assistance.
@@AviationUpclose Thanks
Looked like the engine cowling was getting sucked in at first
It did slightly as a result of increased air intake
Great Catch! May I featuring this video on my daily dose of aviation? Certainly I commit to clearly stating the origin video with full credit! Thanks!
Thanks mate. Yeah that's fine
@@AviationUpclose Thanks a lot!
Tis is a great video, but what is that haunting music from Minute 7:38 onwards its awesome.
Thanks! Ben Moon - The Neoteric Empire
Did you need to go through passport control when you landed in Manchester from Belfast? We’re going on Saturday but my mate doesn’t have his passport only a provisional license 😅
There are no passport checks as this is still a domestic flight
How long is full flight time please I been told it’s around 40-45 minutes from take off to Landing I just have anxiety of flying and want to know that’s correct I’m flying from Manchester 😅
There is no way to give you an exact answer on that as the winds and routing will always give a slightly different flight time. You are looking anywhere between 40 mins to an hour for this one
Used to hear Delta Air lines A319’s that would pass by on route to land at Love Field with this sound, but semi recently started seeing Boeing 717’s instead
It's an iconic sound
Is this bettter then that nikon 1000 or whatever its called
I found the image quality to be a higher standard
0:22
Why in 4.000ft i heard a plane doing a go around over my house and i heard this FOPP
Some aircraft have yet to have this noise removed
RB 211
Awesome catch! Would you be okay with me featuring this late gear retraction in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description. Thanks!
Hi mate. Yeah that's absolutely fine for you to use it! Thanks for watching!
I HEAR owl sound of every plane small to large so i am lucky
Nice
Don’t know if I’m happy about 36 year old plane still flying
I would much rather fly this as a pilot or passenger over a much younger aircraft operated by an airline that doesn't invest as much time, effort and money into fleet maintenance
I miss goin to Manchester with my bf
Hopefully you can fly the route again soon
I flew from Dublin to Manchester on aer lingus Ryan air is cool tho
Nice!
Missing that one here!
Hopefully back next summer!
Brilliant video. I flew on this same aircraft on the way back to Manchester from Kefalonia G-JZBD
Thanks & very nice!
None of that poncy fly-by-wire, flexy wing, serrated cowiling garbage here. Just a brute force Rolls Royce-powered rocket ship. Do one!
Always an enjoyable flying experience on the 757
The usual screaming wean lol.
Always one 😂
Great vid!
Thank you!
loved that engine sound on that
Thanks!
older than me! I am 27
It's older than a fair few of us!
ive never seen the front part of the engine cowling been sucked in when full thrust is on at 6.40 secs, great 757 nice looking outside but cabin well worn on the one i was in, seems all pilots love the 757
Good spot, I've never seen that before. At ~7.45 the four dimples disappear when the thrust is reduced
Yeah I noted this in the video description because I thought it was interesting. I can only assume it's a result of the amount of air coming into the engine and the venturi affect of accelerating the air once it enters the engine
Great video man!
Thanks mate
I'll miss the ceo 😢
It'll be flying for plenty of time longer
Haha I was sat in a bar and watched this land !
Very nice!
Qatar Airways pilots be like: 🧈
Indeed
Is that a fire in the background?
It is yeah. Not entirely sure of the details
I’d love to fly on a jet 2 757! I do miss the tui 757’s
They're still operating much of the network from Manchester so there's still time
Love cork airport live 10 miles away i ofton fly from there and plan spotted there great spot for that to at the end of the runway you are even allowed park there ❤
That's good! Great little airport
A350-1000 ❤ Nice capturing 😍
Thanks mate!
Thats an amazing video man! Liked!
Thanks!
Dear Aviation Up Close I hope you are well. I'm figuring this is the only way I can contact you, there being no obvious email address. I suppose I'd better introduce myself. I am a relief signalman on the Settle-Carlisle line, work at the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway and am a published railway historian and archivist. About 12 years ago I was approached by the Friends of the National Railway Museum (Registered charity No.273829) to participate in a project, the Film Archive of Railway Signalling and People (FARSAP). The project was to record on film for future generations the means of railway signalling in the UK at a time when Network Rail laid out its plan to eliminate the last areas of mechanical signalling and re-modernise ageing power signalling areas over the next three decades. For many locations, timing was vital and indeed several areas have been modernised since filming was carried out (Barnetby, Lincoln, Blackpool, Vale of Glamorgan etc.) I was appointed to cover South Wales and the North-West of England, covering of course my own area of work. I am currently working on a documentary covering Barry signal box. I am wishing to give a historic context to modern day film footage that I have composed. A fifty minute interview with two retired railwaymen brought forth memories of not only the immediate Barry area, but also locations they had worked on the South Wales Main Line and parts of Taff Vale and Rhymney railways. I would very much like (admittedly more "need!") to incorporate a few seconds of this film with full credit given to you. The founding of the airport was a vital revenue stream for the ailing Vale of Glamorgan line. No profit nor monetary gain is to be yielded from the finished piece and the intention is to stream from FARSAP's own website as film documentaries of various locations, some interspersed with interviews with retired railway staff. Some of my existing work is shown via the link below and the finished film will take on much the same format: www.s-r-s.org.uk/videoPages/BleaMoor.php Blea Moor - s-r-s.org.uk If you were to consider granting permission, I would gladly send a hard copy of the finished film to you. Your contribution would be vital to the success of the film. Yours in Anticipation Rob Daniels [email protected]
Love the sound!
Always nostalgic to hear!
Wow! That rotation, near tail strike right there, great find!
It was spectacular! Thanks!

Not something I can do pal
Stunning catches my friend ❤
Thanks!
Great video bud!
Thank you!
Super Cool
Thanks!
Is more easy to hear this sound in close to the land than in take offs or go arounds.
It's easier to hear in the overflight
Here in Brazil, when they overflight close or over my house this sound is SO MUCH high that even distracted i can hear the sound , the airport that they go is Santos Dumont Airport (Brazil) , and the planes is Airbus A319 and A320 (not NEO). The Airline is Latam Airlines Brasil and rarely , an A319 of Brazil Air force.
i love fuerteventura been three times
That's great. It's a nice destination
i saw this plane today!
Nice!
Kudos to all of those pilots!!!👏👏👏
Indeed!
