The final of 3 flights for the day after a very busy day of travelling, as with my trip to Dublin at the start of the month, this flight to Manchester would be onboard a Boeing 737 MAX. I headed through security around 90 minutes prior to departure, at this time Dublin Airport was really quiet and I was waiting at the gate shortly after. Our aircraft was arriving from Edinburgh to be swapped with EI-HMW which had operated the inbound from MAN. That paired with a departure delay from EDI, it meant that we didn't get underway until about 35 minutes after the scheduled departure time. With winds gusting nearly 40 knots, the takeoff on Runway 16 was very exciting, after this the rest of the flight was rather uneventful with a quick cruise and a pleasant evening arrival in clear skies onto Runway 23R where we eventually arrived about 30 minutes behind schedule.
Overall, another very pleasant flight experience with Ryanair, departure and arrival processes from Dublin and Manchester were quick and efficient, the cabin as with my previous MAX flights was very comfortable and clean, the crew were great, and the added bonus of a rare Runway 16 takeoff from DUB made this a great end to great day.
