Nearly 2 weeks into 2023 and we're getting the first proper Atlantic Low Pressure systems causing some very gusty Westerly winds. Through the day winds averaged around 20 knots gusting up to 30 however peak squalls present a wind check of 280 degrees at 28 gusting 44 knots. I hadn't intended to go spotting today but seeing the conditions I had to go and see what I could capture. Filming from 7:30 to 09:00 on Shadowmoss and then 11:30 to 15:00 from the Airport Pub, there was plenty of action to see with some spectacular crosswind landings and plenty of spectacular go arounds.
