We were recently surprised to discover baby Hillstream loach in our tank. We like the Hillstream loach and would like to keep at least two or more, but would not like to breed. Is it OK to keep all females in one tank? Will they fight.? Thank you for sharing your experience
Come Kerala india buy quality guppy's ❤😂
Shrimpin ain’t easy
I’m just fixing to set up a cicid tank. Do you have both male and female or just males. Enjoy your video and fish
I have three of that big pleco
How can I reach you. Looked on your site and couldn’t find email address.
How can I get in touch with you? I’m wanting some Elassoma Gilberti or Gulfcoast Pygmy Sunfish. Could you try and get in touch with me? I looked on your site and couldn’t find an email address.
If your not afraid of trash pickin going through the dumpsters behind the big box stores can be a good way to score some cool stuff
Heya. I got some new assassin snails, but i have a very big rocky substrate and i am really scared, they will try to bury themselves and wont be able to get out. What should i do?
Gives a lot of good info. But he’s low key aggressive and intimidating with the way he talks. Gives me anxiety listening to him.
I just got a 60 gallon tank and ordered 10 Mbuna cichlids online. I bought rocks and white substrate with a couple of plants and driftwood. I am excited to get the fish! Thank you for sharing this video.
Nice Bro...
Will they eat larger snails like a mystery snail or rabbit snail if I only get a single one?
Yes, mine tried to eat a shrimp one time 😂 So if you have snails that you like, you better not get an assassin snail…
This video could of been shorter
When the loaches crawl on the ground, will it harm the fry?
Absolutely amazing
I have 8 in a 20 gallon long for 2 weeks. Dug a little and haven't noticed any sign of mating.
Hey Wild Fish Tanks, Great job. I built something similar some 15 years ago with 4x4 and 2x4 for my x 3 5' fish tanks, but yours looked better ! How do you maintain your garage temperature especially in the summer for your fish to thrive? Thanks!
Why would anybody want to breed the colour out of a fish? Then wind up with white, colorless fishes?
Awesome video so cool to see others so crazy about fish keeping and breeding its an incredible hobby
The truth? Who are all the people lying about assassin snails?
Old video ik, but Ive got a planted and scaped 20 gal high tank. It's pretty much done cycling now and I really want a starlight bristlenose. I've gotten some conflicting info on if I should house one in a 20 gall or if that's gonna be too small. Ideally I want to find a baby
Jk haha I rewatched it and saw the end
Yo! Love the makeshift worm chipper!
I wish I had the room for a tank full of clown loaches but I'm happy with the group of yoyo's I've got as a 2nd choice!
Where do you get your nets
Can you please leave the question on the phone screen longer because I am older. Thanks for this very enjoyable, R.J.
Can I feed them fish food?
My lemon pleco mated with my bristlenose female the babies coloring is different. They had babies in March an now they played more eggs an i was never trying to breed them. Any advice?
I was thinking that these were bass i live in califonia and i have a outdoor pond, i dont know how it got introduced because no one has stocked them there
Great video! I keep ‘em too, my discus love them and my culture ensures they are clean and have no nasties. To harvest, I stir up and sweep water column with a small shrimp net, and that breaks them up for increasing numbers and makes collecting easy….win win. Then quick rinse and feed.
great personality mate! loved the sock joke..lol. Im setting up a Nano tank for my desk, the idea is a no flow selfsustained ecosystem. Do these snails tolerate colder water, room temps. A few of those rubbish little snails piggybacked in on a plant. So was thinking to get one to keep that future pollution down.
Looks like a baby bullhead catfish
Your to loud fish can hear you and see you .looks like alot of fun the water snakes ???
Ok, the fact that you drank from a gallon jug of water during this made me a subscriber.
So cool to see many wild fish species I grew up catching in ponds and ditches. The Kilifish was one of my faves as they thrive in grassy/algae laid areas. We have a small pond behind our rental loaded with Gambusia, Blue Gill, and Bass. May create a small aqua bowl (self-cycled) and try it with Gambusia or Kilifish from the pond behind us. Thx for sharing and enjoy!!
Does moms and dads eat their babies
my little Neolamprologus tretocephalus lived in my beta sorority for a couple of days before I pulled him out because he wants more territory than is available in the 55G aquarium, but he didn’t hurt anyone or kill anyone or bite anyone. he was in there with guppies, neon, tetras, platies, swordfish, female bettas and dwarf gouramis and he did pretty well, but he just wanted a lot of territory as his own. I didn’t realize what kind of fish he was because I adopted him. 😄 so now I’m starting a new aquarium for him and I’m just looking for tank mates.
Nice set up and fish selection. Thank you for sharing. I am about to set up an 8 foot tank with Mbuna.
I have a mbuna tank 55 might change it and use my 75 I rescued for them and put rescue fish in 55 and a peacock 125 tank then a Oscar pair in a 75
Im here for the blue spotted sunfish. Im glad you caught one. I couldn't find it on google because i didn't know what they were called thanks
Would they thrive with artificial co2 injection as well? I think they need a lot of oxygen, that's my take at least
Great video
Thumbs down for telling "the truth"
My 50 gallon is just coated in snails, just got 3 assassins. Maybe I’ll get more, but for now seems these lil guys will be eating good
Would 1 for a 10 gallon be acceptable? I ideally wanna get a mystery snail, and I worry they'll kill it or something, so I don't want them to breed.
Can i ask what colour is the mom. Reason i ask is i have an Albino female and orange bristle nose pleco. However, I woke up this morning to find baby plecos stuck on my glass behind a netting. Because other than that, they would have been eaten, but they're not orange. I do have another pleco in the tank, but I am not aware if she is female but she is black wih strips and changes colour.
Awesome
