Those rice fish are really cool! I do the exact same thing as you, I sit with a pipette and suck up tiny from and move them into different tanks and such. You make it look easy.

Really liking rice fish and excited to see your progress.
Put a few rice fish in a 2 gal ceramic bowl with a few lotus plants, no filtration put them outside , away from sun and rain, and a few months later you'll have dozens, they lay eggs every couple days. I would love to have medaka/rice fish again. Havent been able to find some to buy.
I wanna do an outside pond in Georgia would these be ok in there or what would you recommend in the pond. I just don't wanna do the usual koi. I though about convict cichlids
