the mailman did not handle your package with care those guppies weren't without water very long

The reddish plant looks like Ludwigia repens to me or perhaps a hybrid of L. repens. Great, hardy, easy to grow plant. Alternathera reineckii has longer, more slender leaves and the red cast isn't exclusive to the underside. I'm still utterly amazed that those fish arrived alive with no water. Enjoyed this video!

What a lucky break with the guppies. Can’t believe they survived. It is however, always hit or miss with new unproven strains. Would love to chat sometime. Since we are in the same area if that’s cool 🐠🦮🦯

I had fish a bunch of shipped to me earlier this year. The otocinclus bag had burst and one of them had escaped the bag and was swimming around in the box. Luckily it was lined with plastic and that otocinclus survived.

Man you got SO LUCKY with that bag of fish, it must have just happened prior to you opening it. Maybe the mail carrier dropped it on the ground a little too hard or something. Glad they made it alive!!

I agree I think it happened soon before I got it. I usually have the same mailman, not always, but he knows me and he’s really good. It was either an accident or someone else I’m pretty sure. The seller did a decent job packing but could have use some more void fill to prevent the bags from moving around. I think that probably contributed to it

@@WildFishTanks im not at all familiar with how those bags work but in theory could they be double bagged inside another larger bag with its own water and with air access as well?

Had that happen before and it sucks. Matter of fact recently. Usually, more the shippers part than anything, but USPS can be rough. I always ask about duckweed as I hate it. Those Blues look bad, like wasting disease?

Quite the adventure they went on, I suspect they aren’t without water too long though

I have the blue grass guppy’s and purple dragons and honestly I like the blue grass more at least my strain I have some amazing looking males and the females get better every generation

I bet the delivery guy threw box and that cause the bag to leak

Every shipment I ever received that were packed in breather bags, were near empty when I got them. My post office will bring them to my house as soon as they get to them, especially if the box is wet. I lost so many angelfish that way, I gave up on ordering them online.

An old killie friend of mine once received a pair of a Rivulus species that were shipped to him in a bag with two wet cotton balls. No water, just two wet cotton balls! Rivulus can breath through their skin.😁 How did you make out with the Pelvicachromis sacrimontis? Cheers, Chris

That’s crazy!!! All four are still doing very well and getting frozen and live foods frequently. No babies yet but it’s only a matter of time

Don't buy guppy breed like mad
