How cheesy…
or u could just cook in milk and lil bit water and the later top with cheese n the cheese melts itself with the heat of the noodle....less time...less product....win win
You could also do that. My only concern in that case would be if the noodles would release enough starch to emulsify the cheese. Or try to cook it a minimal amount of liquid, so that there is almost none left when it hits the bowl. That’d work :) Anyway, thanks for the idea! 🙌
shut up meg
Isn't this the model with epoxy covered handle? I think de Buyer says only their stainless steel handles are oven safe, while yours is just safe for 10 min at 200C (~390F). How is your handle now? I just bought the same pan but am now afraid to season it in the oven :/
I was going to say “no problem”, since I’ve been using it a lot, but now that you brought it up I actually got curious and went to double check 😅 I can confirm that the handle is absolutely fine!
I'm lactose intolerant everytime I eat cheese and milk I regret in 30 mins 😅
Haha That’s how irresistible cheese is 😁 Have you tried some pills for that? I have at least a couple of friends that are lactose intolerant and they pop some kind of a pill before eating something that contains lactose, then they’re fine.
@@ROLcooks yeah but those pills don't come cheap🤭
@tom0900060 you have to decide how much your love for cheese costs 😁😁
3 am cravings
Haha midnight cravings here. And I’m indulging 😈
Thanks, i will give it a try. The fried onion is a bit easy. Fried garlic would be a challenge, but much more intresting. And maybe add carrot in it somehow. Cheese and carrot are really good friends.
Феноменално. Красива вкусна баница. Браво. Успех от София
Благодаря за хубавите думи! 😁❤️ Поздрави от Копенхаген!
Favorite ❤❤❤
uh... looks nice n easy
Takes 10-15 mins :)
how do you wash the pan after seasoning?
I try to only fry in it, so I almost never wash it - just dry it and go over gently with a steel wool if there’s anything on the bottom. If you’re gonna wash it, just do it with warm water and try not to use detergent. Using salt as an abrasive and a sponge also works, just don’t scrub too hard :)
@@ROLcooks thanks a lot
@arekushisuruizu2968 Thanks for watching! ❤️🙌
Did you put the pan into over for one hour at the heat setting or turn the oven off and let the pan sit in it for one hour?
I had the pan in the oven for one hour and then switched it off and let it cool down completely inside.
Where is my invite, i will bring rakia😍❤️🤤🤤🤤
Haha I can’t believe I forgot the rakia 🤦♂️
Nice "summer" adition..
Love this! Minus the cheese... I make this same salad a lot! Either as is or add to some spring mix salad lettuces.
Have you ever tried it with cheese? Unless you can’t have it/don’t like it 😁
@@ROLcooks I haven't, but will next time.
@_SurferGeek_ that’s half the experience, if you ask me 😁
Funny, in Danish white onions are called ‘salad onions’ 😂 Love it when you bring out the Bulgarian recipes ❤
Haha well white onions for you then 😁 Glad you enjoy them! ❤️ I’ll put out more, as well as some Danish ones 😉 Btw, if you have any tips on making remoulade, hit me up!
I'm waiting for the invite. Nice dish, sir
Next week, bud! ❤️
I have found that the first couple eggs after seasoning stick a little, similar to what you showed. But after cleaning out any stuck bits, it's then a non-stick surface and it works better. Maybe some imperfection in the seasoning, that's removed when cooking eggs?
Yeah, absolutely! I made an omelette the very next day and it was just sliding 😁 But yeah, I guess just cooking is the best seasoning you can give it.
@@ROLcooks I have a smaller pan with a 6.5 inch / 16.5 cooking surface. The eggs slide so easily.. but I like to cover the pan and let steam cook the top of the fried egg. This is generating rust on the sides! I just scrubbed it and started re seasoning the sides especially to see if that will fix it
@H4KnSL4K Yeah, also avoid anything acidic, like tomatoes for example. That’ll eat your seasoning away before you know it. I find that any sauce, or just liquids in general, will ruin the seasoning. That’s why I use this pan strictly for frying/sautéing.
One thing you missed was the sauteed mushrooms!!
Yeah, I know a lot of people add mushrooms as well, and, as much as I like mushrooms, I prefer it without :)
@@ROLcooks it's crazy I saw this video today after I made a MEAN 3lb Philly cheesesteak sandwich with my griddle yesterday! I wish I could upload photos here. But yours did look amazing!
@retlem hehe wow! And thanks! ❤️ Is your griddle bigger? I feel like mine was already crowded with just one steak’s worth…
@@ROLcooksNot sure if it’s bigger than yours but it’s pretty large. It’s a 20” x 10.5” electric griddle by Dash. Works well!
@retlem That’s more or less the same size as mine. It’s a fun toy to have :))
Mmmhhh, very delicious ❤❤❤
Love Philly Cheesesteaks. Gotta have mushrooms and spicy brown mustard!
Yeah, I think it could really use the mustard!
looks very scrummy
Griddle of doooom
😂
You stole from Townsend!
…who stole from the history books 😅
30 mins total? Or 30 mins before mixing and 30 after?
30 mins total :)
Mmmhhh very delicious ❤😊
im going to try this... very nice, sir
nice 👍
Amazing! My baby boys and husband are going to enjoy this savory version very much, and of course, so will I 😊 thank you!
You’re welcome! 🤗 Enjoy!
Where’s the avocado? What a joke of a sandwich
‘’ mushrooms are already salty enough ‘’ proceeds to salt steak swimming in mushroom ketchup
Throwing the straw away was such a mood lol
Hahaha I normally never use straws and don’t like them, but just put it in there for the video 😂
crave
Talking about cravings 😂
Very good idea my friend ❤
Thank youuu! 😁🤗
I miss my city I have been so long😢
what kind of breat and bacon is that?
Just normal, thick-sliced bacon and some ciabatta-style loaf, if I remember correctly.
👏👏👏 Easy!
Turkey bacon was about half price. Tastes like half of half of half. Whatever that amounts to. They wanted over $3 for a small head of iceberg so it's Romaine. Tomatoes were real ones for $3.79 EACH or dyed cardboard with artificial tomato flavoring for $2.69/#. Mayonnaise. Real. Has anyone ever heard of using mustard? I'm really enjoying the Mayo and bread. It's ok though. Coyote ordered an Acme, just add water. This is really better than that.
umh
Nice 👍 😊 New subscriber here ✅✅🤗
Thanks so much! ❤️ Welcome! 😁🤗
Very nice !
I am German-Turkish. My grandparents emigrated from Bulgaria to Turkey. I've known banitsa since I was a child and I love it. I love ayran or boza. Thank you and best wishes from the Black Forest ♥️
Give it a try, it’s very easy to make and will bring you back some good memories, I hope! ❤️ Thanks for the message and thank you for watching!
@@ROLcooks I've made it many times before, but never in a round tray 🤔😂

Did you order directly from de buyer?
No, I got it from a kitchen supply store here in Copenhagen. Why?
@@ROLcooks Because my de buyer pans never came with this nice "paper bag".. that I want. :)
Hehe I kept that for a couple of months, just so I can “unbox” it for the video. Did it come with the cardboard label at least? I doubt that it’s something to worry about as I’ve bought, for example, the same whisky sometimes in a box, and sometimes just a plain bottle. Unless you just want the it just for kicks :) It feels nice to open something in its original packaging!
@@ROLcooks Yes, both pans came only with the card board. I am not worried but I like the looks of the bag and its nice for storage or transport of the pans... ;) Nothing major haha... thanks for the quick answer!
@thomasmann6416 I feel you :)) Thanks for watching! ❤️
Hello from Turkiye. I have eaten it in Bansko and never forget it. I am grateful for English recipe, I baked it today first time in my life and the tray was empty within 30 mins. Thank you. Amazing!
Hello! This makes me very happy! I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😁
Mmmhhh, wow, yummy 😊😊😊
