We are Jess and Alex, a couple from the UK with a passion for adventure. We have travelled across 15 countries in self-built campervans, most recently to Scandinavia in the middle of winter in our Peugeot Boxer 'Norman'. We love nothing more than hitting the open road in our van and soaking up the breath-taking landscapes and exploring different corners of the earth. The link is in the description, it’s absolutely fine on our van and we are fairly tall with the lift kit and the wheels. I can see how it would struggle on anything much taller than ours. All that would happen if the roof is too tall is that it would lean the bottom of the front legs towards the van. So it would technically still work.

Yes, your awning is really handy and it's also affordable, and it's probably not too heavy. We have a Thule awning that cost over 2000 pounds and weighs 30kg 😅. It's probably only been used less than 5 times in a year because we move it so often. Good and informative video.
Yeah we are really happy with it! This one only weights 5kg and that is the exact reason we didn’t want to spend a fortune, we usually wild camp and you don’t exactly get an awning out then! Thankyou!!!
Looks good. Might have to get one. Got the fiamma f45s on my vw, but for the amount of times I’ve used it I don’t fancy paying that much out again. This one looks good value 👍
It’s good mate! We are in the same boat as you! Generally we wild camp so not really awning situations. But for the few times we meet friends or whatever it’s nice to have to shade from the sun or rain! 😂

No unfortunately not! However it’s a piece of unit strut attached with exhaust clamps and then ratchet strapped to the ladder. Very crude but it works well for us!
must be 20 years, or more, since we went diving at Porth k, in our first campervan, I think it was Michael who ran the place then, there was a "zoo" there at the time..

I - in the rare occasions I wash my car - always do the wheels last. Just saying.... 😇😇 How idyllic to be just a few minutes away from those spots. 👍
Ahh you see I also do it first as then any chemicals you put on your wheels don’t get left on the paint of the vehicle. If you’re using acids this can cause issues. We are lucky that’s for sure! 👍

love that lights.. I'm also thinking of buying Auxbeam when the time is there to get some extra lights. ( I want 4 x 9 inch white (with amber caps) on the roof and 2 x 5 inch amber on a small bulbar) I do have to say that a sun visor would finish Norm's front end off. (that's my opinion 😉)
Thankyou! We have just had some other lights arrive to replace the grill lights from Auxbeam. We've gone for dual 7" lights for the front. Never thought about a sunvisor, we may have to have a look into that!

Hey, thankyou!!! We got it from Ebay on a new old stock kind of thing. It was from a company selling them off cheaply. If we were to do it now we'd probably go for a plastic one just to keep weight and cost down.

Great idea for the bike rack Alex been wracking my brains as to how to accommodate a couple of bike in our L2H2 and you've nailed it my friend well done. Have you done a van tour of Norman as I like the way you've built it looks a quality build with some very ingenious ideas (which I would like to steal 😉)

They are absolutely ridiculous! I can’t actually believe how bright they are! We were with friends at the weekend and I’d been telling them all week how bright they were and they weren’t expecting them to be as bright as they are! 😂😂

Great video again! Any chance of being able to see the viewing angle of the cameras after seeing them brackets in now tempted to get them. Do they connect to a base station or can they record to memory card? I forgot what you said in the other video 🤦♂️ wasn’t bothered till saw them brackets, game changer!!
Do you follow us on Instagram? I will put a story up later showing the viewing angle of the cameras. It makes them sit perfectly for the view. They connect to a base station which is USB powered and connects to the WiFi. You can either record to cloud of you can put a USB in the side of the base station.

So… does the blink camera set up just work locally needing no internet? If so what’s the latency like. Needing security/reverse cameras!!
The blink cameras need WiFi and would have too greater delay to be used as a reversing camera 😂
I'm surprised at the fact your van is a Peugeot or Citroen and has the 249 paint code. My MWB Ducato is also 249, but i really thought the manufacturer's had different paint shades??!!
All the Peugeot Citroen and Fiats are the same van so they generally share all the colours.

Like anything it’s not perfect. For us it’s been faultless. But the people before looked after it and so did we! It’s gets regular oil changes and if it needs anything it gets it!

@@peterburgess4637 Yeah it's been used too! We got stuck in the arctic and it pulled us out. At the time I imagine we must have been over 3.5t to be fair. Absolute beasty bit of kit. Always the way it goes! When you've got space you'll fill it 😂
