Hi Alex, first of all, loving the videos your putting out, this may be a long shot but could you or have you got footage of you installing the Land Rover Discovery 5 seats?, I’ve purchased a set purely based on your van tour video, they are very comfortable seats and both front seats are half the price of 1 genuine peugeot boxer seat, if there’s no footage could you put up a wiring diagram or photo of the wiring if that’s possible,,, I’ve got the motors working but not from the switch unit.. getting confused , many thanks in advance John…

Think its great, love the diy mad max effect. I can see you growing in time and selling these. Brilliant job. Roll out the van accessory range ... obvs make them super pretty with your stealth logo! Ive seen some crazy priced options from the likes of Hymer that hold bikes, a spare wheel and box storage for 3.5k upwards. Cornwall campervan accessories here you come!

well done ,good job ,better to be able to make one to your own specifications if in the future your needs change you can alter it accordingly and learning new skills will set you up for any challenges that come your way

Nice one 👍 I’d always rather make than buy if I can. Personally I’d have made the bottom cross bar a right angle to make it ocd proof but good job 😁

Don’t! It did hurt my OCD but I wanted as much support as possible behind the box! If I was doing it as a wheel carrier I would have done 👍

No unfortunately not! However it’s a piece of unit strut attached with exhaust clamps and then ratchet strapped to the ladder. Very crude but it works well for us!

Do you have have videos showing your roof rack? I’m thinking of doing aluminium flat bar sides with extruded aluminium bars. Yours looks very similar to what I’m thinking. 👍

We don’t unfortunately! So ours is made out of 42x42mm unistrut, the sides are then made out of black pvc soffit material.

Sadly not, it was some new old stock on EBay that I managed to get for £100 about 9 months ago!

Cracking job mate! 👌👌 can i ask what ladder and wheel carrier you have? I need to source a spare 16" rim for my duke and would prefer it mounted on the rear to keep the space under the van for future ideas 😊

Thanks mate!! So the ladder is a rhino ladder we got for free from a mate and the tyre holder is a mix of random bits. Essentially it’s 2 pieces of uni strut hold onto the ladder with some exhaust clamps. Then it’s held in place with 2 ratchet straps in an upside down Y configuration.

Nice job mate ..... Although its not so fabrication related the fact I work on, modify and can do major jobs on the Landy - originally ZERO experience - its truly satisfying to get in and do it. Made and make many mistakes but thats oart of doing it yourself and you feel pretty dam good at the end. If you ever told me I could remove and replace the windows and a rear door, alternator, full service and clutch i would have laughed at you. .... Now - bring it on

Thankyou! I know what you mean. 5 years ago I didn’t really know my ass from my elbow. I could do basics like brakes and servicing. But last weekend I had the engine completely out of it, swapped the clutch, dmf etc. It’s awesome being able to do stuff yourself! I always just refuse to pay some of the mental amounts of money companies are asking for stuff like this.

My problem in Luleå is access to a place to do the work, I have access (sometimes and not exactly when I need) to a workshop for a weekend and another place just for 6 hrs a week night - it's my biggest challenge and one reason the 110 is in Germany getting it's interior done :)

@@ourvannorman for a Volvo sized vehicle or if you own a home/land yes .....but With most people in medium density housing apartments it's not possible -yes a Garage but the mere thought of a bigger sized vehicle as an option is absolutely something to freak out about - waaaaaay too different for the socialist grey and boring norm .... And yes I can say that as I've been visiting or living here since 1996 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and the locals are boring 😂😂😂

@@arcticbunyip5005 ahhh ok! I must admit I’m amazed how little housing costs there compared to the UK it’s madness and it seems like such a better place! We found the people to be very nice! And they run about on snowmobiles in the winter seems more exciting than the rain in the UK 😂
