Neil Denham - Already Everything

Neil Denham - Already Everything

"Already Everything" is a simple yet radical expression of the unconditional freedom that is never lost or found.

Neil wrote a short book on seeking and liberation called 'Already Everything' sometime toward the end of 2019 which was eventually published, and spoke publicly for the first time at the Nothing Conference online in 2020.

    It's rather amusing to observe them, ensconced in their own perceptions, believing they've grasped the entirety of 'REALITY'. They appear to have merely skimmed the surface. It's akin to believing one understands Shakespeare after reading only the prologue of 'Romeo and Juliet'. How quaint!

  • @ndnd2023
    @ndnd2023Ай бұрын

    Does one need to understand Shakespeare? And where did anyone say a type of reality has or could be grasped? I'd be very surprised if that was said or even inferred. I think you heard something that wasn't actually there, which the mind does, naturally. But I hear you with these types of interviews, they can become more than a little contrived at the best of times - Neil

    The sense of I am comes out of an energy, which then becomes the personal identity and a sense that I am person or an individual that is separate from everything else. Sometimes this energy can suddenly dissolve taking the sense of the person living in separation with it... And then it can be seen that the person living separation was false or an illusion. There is only wholeness.

  • @neildenham-alreadyeverything
    @neildenham-alreadyeverything Жыл бұрын

    The dream last night was probably accepted as the reality whilst the dream was going on, until one wakes up and realises that it isn't the waking reality.. So, in some ways when the dream of I am ends, it is obvious in the same way that the reality of I am wasn't the actual reality. However, that's not to say that the dream is wrong, incongruous or erroneous, it's just what happens.

    Hi Neil, I have a question regarding this feeling of not being located in the body/ no center. There are well documented psychological disorders called dissociative disorders/ depersonalization, derealization, is it possible that what happened to Tony Parsons and others is that they experienced this disorder, and because the involvement with no duality/ spirituality they interpreted that as non dual/ dying of the self event, and that’s how this message was created, perfectly making sense to them, and fitting in with their non dual search ? 🤷🏼‍♂️ What is your opinion on that ?

  • @neildenham-alreadyeverything
    @neildenham-alreadyeverything Жыл бұрын

    Depersonalisation is a still a personal experience. If there is a someone who has just become depersonalised or derealised, then yes, that could be considered as being some kind of unwelcomed and troubling mental state, particularly for the person who suffers these dispositional episodes. I think this can happen in all walks of life, so to speak, but drawing from memories of past professional experiences of people with personality disorders, it sounds far from the unconditional freedom and aliveness that this communication attempts to describe, (and fails to, of course).

  • @ccr7712

    @@ccr7712 Well, I'm not a psychologist, but a need to escape or being/feeling disconnected or 'cut off' or isolated from life sounds like something very different to awakening, although some of the aspects to what you're describing could sound similar. Generally, in liberation, there is an explosion of life, and a rich vibrancy that has a very different energy from there being someone who has become detached or isolated from life in some way. But again, I'm not qualified on matters of mental illness and/or wellness. It's always wise to consult with a professional on such matters, if one feels the need to do so. Edit: I looked it up and found a channel called DDD diaries amongst some others. The main difference, as far as I can tell, (and again, I'm not a qualified MH professional), is that people with DDD or DpDi (I think) seem to experience a levelling off or lack of emotion, and most report long periods of depression, low mood, and anxiety disorders - but the common denominater for DDD seemed to be that it's hugely problematic for the person who suffers, in that they feel like there is something wrong about the way they experience themselves and their perception of reality, which can in some cases severely affect or impact their day to day quality of living in a generally negative way. One of the pages even stated that meditation can cause episodes of depersonalisation and derealisation, but it's generally a trauma informed approach to treatment. ***Again, I would strongly encourage anyone who is in any way concerned about their mental health or wellbeing to discuss this with a doctor and/or agency that can offer professional advice and support.

    @@neildenham-alreadyeverything thanks for the answer Neil, but nobody can really do anything like consult psychiatrist or find help since there is nobody, it may happen or not, but we don’t have any control over that, it’s hopeless, whatever happens happens, isn’t that what you saying, how that really is ? Just trying to understand this clearly, you don’t have to worry about the legality/ liability issues in my case, I wouldn’t blame you for not seeking help if necessary.

  • @neildenham-alreadyeverything

    @@ccr7712 No worries. I guess what I'm saying is non duality speakers are not experts on matters of health, science, or anything else for that matter, so if one wants to understand about conditions of the body, its probably better to ask someone who is educated or informed about it. I wouldn't ask a non duality speaker about how best to maintain or fix my car, (unless they are a qualified mechanic of course). No one has ever sort advice or help from a professional, yet seemingly it happens all the time, and in some cases it may be helpful in healing the psyche. So called non duality simply points to what happens as being wholeness already, and that there is already no such entity as a self operating on any level. Feel free to get in touch by email or call via website if you'd like to 🙂

    These days arises the thought- what is seeing... it seems to be just an energetic event, than the claimer of experience gives apparent arising things labels, tree , stone, stars, the universe ... just labels. These labels mean nothing, they don't explain anything. Then "we" explain what's arising with other explanations of what's arising and create just a story to feel apparently better, "me knows something" ,"this is how it works" ... we know nothing, we not know what's arising, just giving something some meaning and specialness... it's chit chat... it's of course also just what's appearing, a playout of wholeness.... but funny the apparent seriousness about all of these things. Billions of dollars to look deeper into the universe, for more accurate stories ^^

    @@ccr7712 every word we use is just a label, for some things, experiences, etc. What this is we doesn't know, therefore we give labels to communicate... and it seems that we don't recognize that this are just labels for something we have no clue what it really is... what is sweet, hot, distant, painful happy... just energys appearing... but, that's also just a using of labels to answer your question and it's useless... it's the dream that there are humans talking to each other, that's just the apparent impression to the 'me' , just an apparent happening. Not really happening. And still, it seems that my character apparently tries to figure all of this out, connect the dots, so to speak... still feels like hard work to do nothing ^^

    @@ccr7712 seemingly, yes :) giving labels seems to arise as a natural response to the need to know. Like the speakers say, as soon as the me appears, there is a sense of lack "who am I, what am I, why I'm here..." ... than the me see other me's and try to figure everything out, together, with using these labels. Than it starts looking for answers in its own created "label reality". But as a say in my first comment, what is even seeing? We apparently give these sense a lot of meaning. "Are there aliens" in what we called univers. Of course, this is a story. In my need to know as a apparent me, I imagine it would help to see through all of this Illusions we created... but it's also seen that everything the me is trying, is already in its own bubble, it's own illusionary point of view. In that sense, even to say " when the 'me' appears, there appears the sense of lack, a need to know" , is a Story. There is no me, no lack, no this or that, just unknowing. Just what apparently appears.
