Emerson-Neil, how is it possible that I experience the »pull of absence« (like a warm black hole) as true beauty, although at the same time the life story here is experienced as very solid and real? I think that this BLACK BEAUTY is the enigmatic attraction of this message...Even it is "light"..With love...Merlon

I refer to it as 'L' apelle du vide' in my book. Which loosely translates to 'the calling of the void'. It seemed to be a nice term at the time to attempt to, somewhat loosely, describe the longing one feels when drawn to something indescribable or unknowable, which is 'this' 🙂

@@neildenham-alreadyeverything Here its more like being warmly embraced by "it". But stil for somebody 😥 Maybe 'La mise en abyme' = 'Placed into abyss' would be a good term too!? But, anyway, its magic! Thanks for your answer!!

the question at 1:07:07 is a good one. the community needs to start getting clearer about which "me" is being spoken about by the seeker: the "me" of the witness vs the "me" of the person/personality. the former "me" never has thoughts, it witnesses them. this is the "me" that serves as the ground of all your self referencing over all the years. the latter "me" doesn't exist and is simply a conglomeration of thoughts and bodily sensations which is finally summed up by another thought like, for example, "these are my thoughts" or "this is the question I would like the answer to" etc. let us try to be more authentic in our expression and forget about using terminology from past speakers like tony parsons et al such as "it's just what's happening" or 'the me never existed" etc. these pointers are clearly limited in scope for many and this doesn't need to be this way. leave tony's and maybe jim's expression as theirs and pay attention to what is actually happening with the seeker in front of you. much love.

No me suggests that that which seems to be having an experience of what happens is illusory. It's an artificial sense to be a someone, and for the seeker it is this sense to be a someone that is the separate experience. This experience seems to take the form of a contracted energy, (has nothing to do with thoughts, or mental constructs), and it can be that this contracted sense of self can fall away. The problem with saying that is it makes it sound like there is an actual me that falls away, which, in the end is simply and actually, obviously, not the case at all. There is just no self. No small self, no bigger 'ground of being' self. That's all the dream, so, of course, there is no seeker to help.

@@neildenham-alreadyeverything I mentioned bodily sensations to address that sense of contraction. Everything you say makes logical sense. However, if you're being honest then the hesitancy to speak about your own process, for example, as a "me" falling away can be seen as some kind of adherence to precision (i.e. it is technically correct) but at the same time completely unhelpful. You must remember the feeling of a "me" being real to you and if you depart from that sense of a "non-happening" your pointing could be more helpful for some seekers. This is simply an opinion. I offer it to see if any of it resonates at any level. Of course it cannot be right in any ultimate sense.

@@pairadeau Hi, I get what you're saying, but in all honesty, one cannot possibly talk about a me falling away as some kind of process when the me is revealed as being an illusion. Yes, from within the illusion it seems real or convincing (such is the nature of an illusion), but what is being described is the falling away of that illusion. Because an illusion isn't real, it would be disingenuous to describe any kind of ac tual process for this to happen. In other words, I couldn't possibly tell you about something that doesn't actually happen. That would just be making up a story to appease the seekers need for something to do. Teachers do that, and then charge you a fortune for it. There is no me already...

No time, no space, nothing happens, nothing moving... become these things obvious after the apparent dropping of the sense to be someone? I mean knowing, or to be someone who knows or understand is the illusion but in some way there is a kind of "recognition" ? When "i" imagine how it is without me, there is just this apparent happening, no creation of time or space... seems that the me apparently creates these things in the dreamed reality... it's more like the idea of space or time don't come up without the apparent illusion to be someone 🤔

It's just that 'what is' is revealed as not being a something which is real. The natural reality is not a real place because it is all there is... Real space and real time only seem to be experienced as a something for the dream of 'I am'.
