Apparently so, but for no purpose, of course. Unfortunately, war is just what happens.
Hi Neil, why do you use the word unconditional love and not for example unconditional misery, when describing this, since suffering, torture, violence, hate and everything else is this as well ? It just sounds ridiculous when you say everything is expression of unconditional love- for example brutal torture of innocent people in the concentration camps during the World War Two is an expression of unconditional love ? I just can’t understand how anybody in their right mind would believe something that ? Can you explain ?

Love is the energy/life force of the universe. What mankind does with the energy/life force is not Love’s responsibility. It’s all metaphor (language) so it is more a pointer than truth.

It's meant as being not a personal expression of love, which is perceived as niceness, or kindness, or something like that. So, unconditional love can be unconditional sadness, of course. It's actually not a term I use a lot, it seems, because the individual mind just automatically goes to a nice feeling, or a benevolence or something like that., when it hears the term unconditional love. Unconditional love is everything.
